Nope. AA is far better defensively. Strome is better offensively and AA can skate circles around Strome. - Elbows15

You bet. Like I said... I've been all over the place with what I wanted for an outcome. - Tyler Cameron
I m with you tyler lose and better chance at 1st overall pick or 9th pick but getting playoffs experience can go long way in the development of the team next year. Personally its a win win situation. As far as strome and nylander one or both will be dealt most likely Strome to what team or for what is a discussion for a different blog down the line. |

Picks and season winning %s
Here's your score card for the positions teams will be picking before one take one out top go in slot #1
9 Montreal .500
10 Chicago .514
11Minnesota. .558
12 Winnipeg .563
13 NYRangers .564
Vancouver. .565
14 Nashville. .565
15 Florida. .565
16 Columbus. .579
Toronto. .579
Edmonton. .585
Dallas .594
Pittsburgh. .623
Just remember YOU SUBTRACT one TEAM who drops into slot #1 so slot #16 is Montreal if they DO lose and Hawks go #16, or Hawks go #17 if Habs win and Hawks win... |

I wouldn't be so sure Scott. Both will likely be relatively inexpensive. You cannot discount that aspect with a flat cap coming for the next few years. It is the reason the Pius Suter signing was such a big deal. |

So is it too early to start the Dale Tallon to Chicago rumor lol - DrewDawg
Start? Did they ever stop?
Based on Uncle Dale’s impressive results in Florida he should be the new President and GM. |

Not sure I agree that Carpenter Kampf Highmore are creating a 4th line shutdown line. With the exception of Highmore (who I haven't been that impressed with) the rest are just place holders.
Kubalik looked like a stud in game 1 but has been pretty pedestrian the last 2 games. Seems to be chasing the play far to often.
Does Nylander just lack confidence? Seems far to hesitant on most plays. - bhawks2241
There's a reason he couldn't crack a worse line up in Buffalo and it's most probably between the ears. |

If Boqvist could play with more confidence
If Boqvist were stronger maybe he would not be afraid of of being checked hard and hurt; precisely i mean to suffer another concussion.. He might even pound opposing forward more, but never going to be a physical noted player
Biqvist is a great talent. We are patiently waiting for his offensive ability to blossom. He is more concerned, though, about playing well defensively. Truth be told he has been fast tracked and I think he has hit a bit of a wall in this play in round.
Remember he is still a kid and has not yet grown into a man' s body. And it could take a few years to gradually add strength and to avoid a few concussions.
Honestly I am concerned if he ever reaches the pinnacle or his zenith - it would be a real treat to see his electrifying talent on a nightly basis. Either inperson or on cable (maybe on an old Zenith) to see reach his zenith!
OK corny not a good adjective using "zenith," but you catch what I am saying
I just hope that Boqvist is not playing somewhat scared.. A former Blackhawk high draft, Jokiharju, i amng guessing had/has the same fear that Boqvist might be enduring now
I am therefore a concerned how steady Boqvist will be the remainder of the play in round due specificly to the physical play. He has been concussed already in his career. - jhawk59
If you watch Keith's first season you'd see flashes but he was kinda bad until he wasn't. |

Not rooting against them, however.....
Landing the #1 then:
1. Trading it to Ott for 3 @5....
2. Trading it to Ott for 3 and Tkachuk....
3. Trading it to Ott for 5 and Tkachuk....
#1 overall would get 2 pieces for this current group...... - mike7076
If the Hawks get #1 overall keep the pick and draft Laf, he’s head and shoulders above the rest. Could you imagine trading the #1 overall in 2007 (Kane) for #3 (Turris) and #5 (Alzner)? NFW. |
