yeah...i thought so too...they have been overly cautious of giving up the puck and getting caught in an odd man against...well and that's what beat them.

Ya there was at least several wide open shots.

So we trade Lehner and Gusto, and we are in the playoffs, and if we knock out the golden knobs that would be sweet

All this crap about not having a chance, like the no chance vs the Oil, let's see how that 1st game goes

All the "experts" gave the Hawks no chance against McJesus and Co. While Vegas has somewhat owned the Hawks since they came into the league, that trend was starting to even out and reverse a bit this year.

Go Hawks!

I missed hockey more than I thought - and I’ve enjoyed these “playoffs” more than I thought I would. The league and the players deserve a lot of credit for the planning and discipline it’s taking to pull this off.

Not one positive COVID-19 test in either bubble so far - well done and continued fingers crossed.

I agree with you. I was a skeptic and thought they should just call off the season. Yes i even called these playoffs a farce. I was wrong. Bettman, the nhl and the players deserve tremendous credit for pulling this off. The quality of play has been great. I didn't think after 4 months off and playing in an empty stadium that would be marginal at best. I don't even notice the no fans. The set-up, logistics and play is terrific.

Looks like Victor Hedman messed his right ankle up - big loss for TBY.

I may be wrong but i believe he plays his lines and doesn't change them, that might be old news and he does now but hopefully JC finds an advantage and DeBoers keeps rolling the same lines out there.

That young flyers defense should be the model for what we would like to see on our blue line in 2-3 years. They’re outstanding.

You seriously need to be on meds. You are definitely mentally ill. I'm not making a joke either. I've never seen a bigger flip flopper of emotions than you

Other guy: “You’re definitely mentally ill”

Flip flop? When was I ever showing confidence that we would be able to beat the Avs/VGK in a potential playoff matchup??? Seriously when? Quote me the post. It’s never happened. You’re literally making stuff up. Think u might be the one that needs medication man. Imagining things that never happened.

The two hot teams difficult to pick against, would be a VERY competitive Stanley Cup. That wold be a Philly and Vegas

But first would you prefer Leafs win tomorrow night therfore assuring they cannot draft Lafranierre.

Two former Blackhawks making a solid impact now as members on a second line for their respective teams. That would be K Hayes and Daneault.

Remember when reports had The Penguins trading Malkin to us for a #1. Heard this on a few occassions. Whom do you think is purged by the Penguins now.

No Tallon isn't going after him. Tallon has issues with their blueline corps. But that is just one issue. Some whisper. Tallon will get axed. I don't think so, not yet but after another poor playoff showing next season? Tallon will have a stud young goaltender soon so how can he trade him or Bob? Solve this and Tallon could have a nice new piece to help him traverse the rocky playoff waterways.

I could imagine Malkin for a couple prospects to NYI?

And another thing GPHawksfan....you (frank)in wiener...all I ever see from u is trash talking other people/making fun of their posts. That’s it. That’s your contribution. So question....why are u here? If we’re all so (frank)ing stupid then why waste your time?

Tallon has been released from his duties, he will be replacing Stan. Stan screwed up when he traded a 5th for Kubalik, can’t afford to make mistakes like that. We need Dale so he can sign Lehner to a six year $60M deal, he’ll have to trade our 3rd line center to make cap space, $10.5M is just too much for a 3rd line center.

It’s better than it looks on paper. They’re pretty stingy. And their forwards do a great job helping.

Reminded me of how Rozsival blew out his ankle - untouched, just turning to move into position.

Maybe the Hawks can bring him in again so he could miss offering all the qualifying restricted free agent contracts again
