Biggest goal of Kapanen’s career - Canada Cup
I think hes even had bigger goals.
Didnt he score a playoff winner and a big international goal for his country? |

Biggest goals of his career?
Its a 4th game of a play in series.
I hate jim, but im sure hes called and will call much bigger goals. - Fakepartofme

Crazy comeback.
Although that comeback in carolina earlier in the year was nuts too. |

I could see a commentator mistake Nylander and Kapanen - both right hand shots and blond long hair.
But to mistake a left hand shot with a right hand shot is quite sad.
I watched almost whole game on Fox (CBJ feed) on nhl.tv, just because I cannot stand the CBC coverage - those comentators were much better. |

Im not complaining about anything, just pointing out that 3 shots in the last 10 mins of an elimination game they were down 3-0 is 99% of the time not gonna cut it.
But it worked, got lucky.
We'll take it.
You asked how many shots 3 shots in 10 mins works out to in the course of a game. - Fakepartofme
Right. They got lucky, not at all earned it in those 4 mins. All the goals bounce off crazy deflections. Just luck.
Maybe they only had 3 shots cause each shot went in? Kinda hard to build shot total when each shot you take is a goal.
3 shots and 3 goals in 4mins is impressive. But whine some more
And I never said anything about 10mins, I don't even know where that comes from. Was only talking about last 4mins when the super line got put together. |

I'm so glad these things are possible since the Dead Puck Era. No lead is truly safe now. I'd need a 5 goal lead with 5 minutes to bet my left nut. |

I'm sure somebody somewhere made a nice graph from where the shots came from.
I thought CBJ did quite a good job in keeping Leafs from the dangerous areas, and they blocked quite a few shots - and when Leafs got a chance from up close, Merzlikis played quite well.
Korpisalo surely will be back next game - seems like if Leafs score the first goal easy i 1st period, that'll be the final mental blow to the CBJs.
I'd like to see Leafs push back on Dubois a bit, it was quite pathetic to see him take such a liberty on Andersen, and then turtle his way out of a fight. - MaximusAurelius
Hard to do anything when he runs and hides.
But grit. |

Who gives a poop about shots?
They got three goals which is what matters.
If it makes you feel better, they had plenty of shots in the first 56 minutes where they scored zero goals. - Leafs43
Cbus doing a good job of not giving up odd mans. Let’s hope we can on Sunday and we should win.

Even at the end. That turnover when the puck got stuck outside the netting. Can you imagine how different this place would be if that had gone in? - Canada Cup
That’s what I keep thinking. Ya it was a cool comeback, but they should’ve lost the game. They got incredibly lucky, and had it not happened we’d be talking about firing Dubas and blowing up the team |

Incredibly, does that beat what happened last night?
Unbelievable, when we got beat by the Bruins up 4-1 I didn’t get dressed the next day...I’m doing the same today |
