I think some players didn’t take the round robin too seriously....gee now the top seed gets to play the 22nd place team. Easy first round.

Great on a few levels

1) I like seeing the underdog win and the Habs have outworked the Pens

2) Most people had CBJ/TOR a toss-up, so let's not forget that. The Pens were huge favourites though, probably the biggest favourites in the play-in. So, the Leafs loss will not be nearly as embarassing.

3) No #1 pick for Montreal.

4) It is a perfect illustration of much BS this whole scheme was. The Habs were not making the playoffs in anyone's reality.

Habs move on!!


I hope the league will be suitably embarrassed if Pittsburgh, Toronto, Winnipeg and Edmonton are all in on the lottery.

The pens have some flaws, like the Leafs.

They folded like a cheap tent. I hope the Leafs don’t do the same.

There is really no reason why the leafs shouldn’t beat CBJ here and win two games.

Missed the Habs game, now bridging the 1hr wait with the Chicago Edmonton game, should be good.
I have a good feeling for tonight's game for Leafs.
For Sunday game, I really hope it won't be 8pm EST start again, 2am - 5am Monday morning is a tough start of the working week
