Yes. Trade Matthews. That would solve all of your problems
- RickJames77

It’s hard to believe isn’t it? Matthews has been our best player by far but the way the Jackets clog up the middle it’s hard for anybody to look good.

Toronto desperately needs a shooter on the back end.

It’s all a part of our master plan. We all know what happened the last time the Bruins won the Presidents trophy .

Fine.

See you in the 2nd round!

Jones-Werenski might be the best pairing in the NHL.

I'm a fan.

Why did Shanny think hiring a rookie GM to manage the team in the shark tank, I’ll never know... but Dubas doesn’t have it. 11M to MM lol.

MM is not the only reason the leafs are down, but he exemplifies the team... they are soft, and can’t play when it matters.

- gamerdoc

Rookie GM, rookie coach, and a bunch of kid players making a zillion $. What could possibly go wrong.

Are you actually suggesting Matthews, Marner or Tavares fight and sit on the bench for 5 min?

That's not their role, their role is to play hard and score a goal to turn this game around.

- Scabeh

I never said fight. That was the route spezza chose. Matthews is how big? Tavares and Marner aren't the smallest guys on the ice either. Throw a (frank)ing hit. Do what literally everyone on the ice just did. Kerfoot is rolling around on ground with a guy ffs.

Do something that says I'm in it for this team let's (frank)ing go. Leading does happen by example occasionally, and being completely invisible isn't it.

He floated away from taking out our second best Dman and one of only 2 players with any significant physical presence.

I think part of the issue is that Spezza is probably at the end of his career, and he isn't taking playing for granted.

It means nothing to most of the rest of the Leafs.

- Aetherial

Urgency is lost on them is why.

It seems that teams were divided between the ones that cared about winning and the ones that really didn't want to be there.

NHL has what, 3 teams so far that were not in a playoff position after 70 games are now moving on ? (I cant be bothered to look it up)

I get it, show emotion, desparation.

I'm with you. It needs to show at this point.

Plenty of time for these talented guys to even the score.

If this series has taught us anything, it's that this team as a group is completely devoid of any heart and character.

I would put out 3rd & 4th liners on the PP. Only players who give a fek & earning it.

Im a fan of you picking that up, because looking back I definitely didn't say that but that was the intention. Lol.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Show this group that you care about more than checking your online banking every second Thursday.

Do you agree with my prima donna entitlement assessment?
