3 shots on goal in the last 10 mins of a game they were down 3-0.
Not a good stat.
Looks like the leafs got lucky.
Time to buy cbus goalie a few beers

Who gives a poop about shots?

They got three goals which is what matters.

If it makes you feel better, they had plenty of shots in the first 56 minutes where they scored zero goals.

If 53 shots on goal constitutes a bad game, how many do they have to tally for it to be considered a good one?

Even at the end. That turnover when the puck got stuck outside the netting. Can you imagine how different this place would be if that had gone in?

Very different.

We need Dr. Max to diagnose some of the posters here, because we might be bipolar.

I went to bed when the score went to 3-0.

Regardless of who you cheer for, this is great for hockey.

So far the qualifying format has been pretty dull. This will add a huge shot of hype for fans of all stripes.

So will it be the ultimate Leafy thing to give up a softie in OT?

In a way, I won't care. At least we got to see them come alive and do something. A loss won't feel as bad now.

so the 37 shots before all that meant nothing? Should Mzerklins buy the Leafs players some beers for not scoring on all those chances?

We can all agree that it was satisfying to see the oilers lose.

Just watched the OT winner again.

Matthews sneaks in from the point. Not a single Blue Jacket on the right half of the ice.

Seriously, fellas - he almost won the Richard Trophy this year, and you aren't tracking him in OT?

So does Keefe keep the lineup changes to start the game?

...I'm thinking no ...back to normal to start but a quick switch if they get behind in the second half of the game.

Lots of Spezza love in my heart today. Heart!
