Yep. Hope so.
I posted earlier that we are always stuck in the patient game of evaluation, until an epic failure.
I'm in the camp of preventing epic failure by being proactive. Doesn't seem to happen with the Leafs.
We all sing the same song every year, and now it has been 52 years.

Exactly. I get that there isn't the deals you want all the time as a GM but how many years does the team need.
When you have our D problems for so long and now our wealth of riches on forward, there has to be at least one team without scoring that a deal could be made/pushed/forced.
