What was the last time we had the 1 seed? 96? Maybe it was 2000.

I've been a fan my whole life (I'm 49) and I have to say that this team looks like they have the best chance since '87 to do what we all are waiting for (won't jinx them). The depth is outstanding. Imagine when we get the PP going and 28, 93, 11, 14 & 13 start scoring...

If ghost can continue the rebound, raffl comes back and we can get that pp going I think we can win a couple rounds.

I’m always cautious because as you know the playoffs are a weird animal, and especially this year. Av will have last change more than he won’t which can’t hurt. We beat Tampa when they had last change tonight. Amazing.

How do you take Gostisbehere out now? They can use his shot for sure, especially with the PP struggling a bit.

Farabee had a fine game, JvR starting to pick it up, and NAK will remember that game for a long time.

He said he felt the healthiest he’s been in years.

Certainly didn’t look like he was lying

(Bill, I knew that the adrenaline must have been coursing through your veins to get your wrap posted in record time.)

I just saw Hart's post game interview replayed on NHL Tonight. Sheesh, they should have let the poor kid catch his breath first. He just went through a busy Third Period stretch.

Anyway. 11-3 GF-GA. Yeah, the PP needs a lifeline, but if the team can keep this defensive stance going while still putting them in at full strength, they're unstoppable.

PS: Laughton couldn't keep his goal streak going... What a loser!

Meh. By the time he's done with him, Gritty will have Youppipi crying out more Quebecois profanities in rapid succession than the Charlestown Chiefs Denis Lemieux had ever did during that First Intermission of the Federal Hockey League Championship against the Syracuse Bulldogs:

The West seems totally wide open to me. I’m really excited to see how those series play out.

So I read that first two rounds for east are in Toronto and west are in Edmonton. Then the semis and finals for all teams are in Edmonton

Still can feel the shake this morning! Flyers are No. 1

(Of course, it’s been reported as an actual 5.1 mag earthquake.)

So much to like about this team right now. Young players coming into their own with a solid mix of skilled vets. Hart appears, dear I say, to have solidified the goaltending. The bottom six is solid, the top 6 is solid even with the absences of a couple of guys. Anyways it’s really nice to be able to watch some meaningful games again where by you think they absolutely have a legit shot.

Each team takes their finest warrior in a fight to the death like in the beginning of Troy. Winner gets home ice.

Or points.

They have a few heavy weights that will make for some epic series.
