I think Kane and Co. know Lehner's weakness. Kane is a student of the game. I'm sure the team picked up a few of them while Lehrner was in town.

Players can change up the spots they try and pick.... Lehner can't suddenly make his weaknesses go away.

A break away or two would be nice.

Yeah, I'm expecting something similar. Kane was quiet last series. I don't think that will be the case this time around. Especially with Lehner in net.

Interesting. Whenever TB has the puck in their own zone, and CBJ is pressuring, they simply dump it high out of the zone. The difference between the Hawks and them is that their forwards a much more adept at getting the puck back when that happens.

In the 3rd OT - an obvious TMM - or a high stick - are probably the only penalties that get called.

Who says hockey is a winter sport? Been enjoying this afternoon's games. Columbus and TB in 3rd OT. I find the playoff games exciting. Doesn't make a difference whether they are played in Aoril or August.

have to agree with you...the quality of play has been impressive...no fans is impacting i just can't figure out how...as i said the quality of play and competitiveness has been at a high level..

No one has said anything but I was wondering if the ice has been good without fans in the arenas? Remember those playoff games in the 70s and 80s when the rinks would fog up so badly the Refs had to stop play and the players had to skate around to dissipate the fog.

I don't think the networks sell the ad times in OT because an OT in any game is not guaranteed. Likewise why would a sponsor pay for additional ad time since the commercial may not be shown. Just spitballing, not sure.

In case anyone is wondering, the longest playoff game went 16:30 into the 6th OT. Detroit beat the Montreal Maroons 1-0 in 1936 on a goal by good old Mud Brunteau.

Low scoring hockey games are still great action.
