he missed the whole 2000-2001 season, but I think most of that was him having a feud with the Flyers medical team and then we acquired him in summer of 2001
then he was great the first half of the year for Rangers and then got a concussion in San Jose - jimbro83
Still scored 37 goals in 72 games? And he still played like he wanted to. Took a cheap high hit from a scrub ex-Ranger Roman Ndur to end his season.

Yep I remember JD yelling for the other Ranger players to jump in and help Lindros out. That guy was going at him for like 2 years straight everytime we played

I just looked, during the 2001-02 season the Rangers, right before thanksgiving, they were rolling, 14-7-1 and at the time of the game in San Jose when Lindros was hit, they were still a good 22-14-3

but the wheels fell off them after that
14-24-1 the rest of the way - jimbro83
Was that the year or it might have been before when Fleury went into rehab mid season and he was having a great year, the only good year he had w the Rangers...no that was 2000-01. 01-02 was the on going battles w the Islanders and Cairns, the chicken dance, the crackhead Theo stuff. Man we're rolling today w the memories

yeah, that was 2000-01 when Fleury was incredible
they were like a .500 team in early December and though oh man, did that team suck

Hedman playing - jimbro83
I actually found a Lightning fan recently in Stop & Shop. He had a Hedman jersey and asked him if he was a fan or just wearing the jersey and he said he's been a huge fan since 1992. More fans then the Devils have on LI.
The more I think about it, the more it looks like Kravtsov or Buch will be gone by the start of the year. I’d like to keep Buch but think Kravtsov is still so unknown we could get burned by trading him. Going to be interesting for sure. A 4th line of Lemeuix Howden Gauthier could finally give us some identity in the bottom 6 with the 3rd line a mix of skill and pain in the ass. Maybe Kreider Strome PDG. Not bc Kreider and Strome are 3rd line players but more to balance out the lineup. That also assumes we’re comfortable with Chytil in the top 6, but with 2 extremely skilled guys like Panarin and Lafreniere I think he’d be fine.
Im sorry but you cant put Panarin and LaFreniere on the same line, ESPECIALLY, have it centered by Chytil. The whole point is to get the puck to those guys and when you dont win faceoffs, you waste TOI.

Good post.
They're also both highly capable (or will be) at driving an entire line's play. They might see PP time together though or late in a game needing a goal.
