The #Pens have told the Wild they’re keeping the No. 15 overall pick this year, a source confirms.
Wild will get the Penguins 2021 first-rounder. |

The Pens in a year or 2 are going to be in bad shape. They have no prospect depth and are an aging team. If I were them I’d maybe go for 1 more run then sell whatever they can to stock up. If they wait to long they won’t have anything to sell besides a 36 year old cindy crosby and 35 year old shrek |

Wouldn’t surprise me, the metro is strong. I can see the Rangers Isles Washington Philly and CBJ finishing ahead of them. You never know with Crosby and Malkin on a team but I think their time is over soon also. That’s risky giving up the 1st next year. |

I think they kept the 1st rounder this year to trade at the draft. They will try to get an NHL player that can help them make one last run with the group for next year before the wheels fall off.
That said: would you guys consider trading them Buch and a lesser pick for that #15 this year? |

I don't think so, I think Buch has more value than that |

I think we should target BUF pick at 8 and grab Lundell. They need a whole bunch of help, not sure what it would take but think we have the pieces. Maybe sign Granlund on a 3 year deal and hope Lundell would be ready to take over the 2C by then. |

I would consider it, but I think Buch has finally found his game that we’ve been waiting all this time to see. He was much more engaged/physical at the end of the year and against CAR. Going out on a limb here......Buch puts up 30 goals next year. |
