For one prospect?! There’s so much wrong with it I don’t know where to begin. He’s a winger. He’s not even that good. Brannstrom is nhl ready. Like this is borderlind the wirst trade ive ever seen on this site. Ever. - neem55
How about beginning with grammar and spelling lessons?
3 and 5 is simply not half-assed. I don’t really know how you get this valuation of laffy, but that’s honestly so ridiculous. - neem55
If you asked every GM in the league would you prefer the third and fifth or Lafreniere? I bet all 32 GMs would say Lafreniere . So why would you make that trade?

I don't know if the Blues are that. I would be very very surprised to see them repeat. They had a miracle year last year . I pointed out they were in last place at the turn of the new year.
I think they had a very special second half last year . Canucks may not be the team to dethrone them but they will not be winning the cup this year. - VANTEL
This is a fair assessment too. I look at the Blues as not nearly as bad as they were in that first half, but maybe not as special as that second half run to the cup.
Maybe I'm giving them too much credit. I just try and respect the potential capabilities.
I don't think they're winning this year since repeats are so rare anymore. Vegas is the team which continues to catch my eye.
I need a bit more time to warm up to the Flyers, I think. They're definitely looking promising though.
Well Lafreniere will enjoy the Big Apple then. - VANTEL
Also i do think he will go there. Wingers are just not as valuable, so the top center is always going to warrant some consideration. Whether that top C is strutzle or byfield is also a debate. Ottawa could easily end up with the two best guys in this draft imo, it’s not a really clear one because of evaluation being cut short
If he wasn’t a winger, i would totally agree. I think rangers need a center more but will still pick him as he is a cut above - neem55
He should be a first line winger next season. Sure, they would prefer a center but byfield is several notches below. Think he is a bit overrated personally

Lafrenierre is overrated as well IMO, there are a number of good prospects this year and any of then could be the top of the class in a couple of years.
Lots of people seem to be leaning that way. I think the Avs are better, but regardless the East looks stronger than the West so the cup will probably end up there.

Disagree. He is a (frank)ing beast. Although, this draft class is definitely overrated

Who knows what will happen this playoffs. What I can tell you is prior to Rona Blues were best team in prior 12 months. Been very clear from day 1 this team gave zero poops about the exhibition games. Not gonna say I wouldn't of liked a better effort but that was their approach, same as Boston. Could end up being a bad plan.
Blues have own issues going into this series. Bottom 6 may be a mess. Blais may not be able to play game 1 and barbashev is on way back to bubble and needs to clear protocol. So he is likely not back till game 3 or 4. So will be interesting.
Would not surprise me to see them play Bortozzo on the 4th line just to set tempo and make sure series gets physical right away. They did this last year's playoffs for a game or two.
I think our 2nd line will give Canucks fits. Lots of heavy play and cycling which was staple for us last year.
Parayko is going to hurt someone this series. Mark my words. Dude has been firing bombs one will connect in a bad way with someone. See Bishop.
Goaltending hasn't been issue. Team has just been lazy and not moving their feet. Result has been less goals and giving up goals late in games.
