The goalie and Tarasenko. But it’s not like St. Louis can’t give it right back. The only thing that I can see really rattling the Blues is putting points on the board. If Boston couldn’t throw them off their game I doubt the Canucks can. - CubanBuffet
Idk why the Bruins matter. We use speed & hustle to draw penalties. Play smart. |

Isn't Binnington a hothead too? - NewYorkNuck
Seems a headcase to me. Kind of opponent I loved playing against. You do small things to him. Also buzz some clappers at his head. |

I found this interesting tidbit from Friedman:
It says a lot that the Canucks were able to beat Minnesota without a top-form Jacob Markstrom. I’m learning my way through ex-NHLer (and current Rangers’ broadcaster) Steve Valiquette’s excellent Clear Sight Analytics. Kevin Fiala’s Game 1 was the first “clear shot” goal Markstrom allowed all season. He faced more than 500 such chances, the only goalie in the league who was perfect against more than 200 such opportunities. He allowed another Game 5, which means he was beaten by shots that hadn’t eluded him all season. If I’m Vancouver, I’m betting Markstrom figures it out. - bloatedmosquito .926 save percentage and a 2.27 GAA. Would you take that again in this round?

I realize that.
When you are battling heavy teams or are in a playoff run he is less effective. I admire what he does but he is not going to have other teams looking out for him like a Reaves or a Wilson.
AS I said Canucks targeted Ferland to be that type of player and I hope we find that sort of guy for next year. - VANTEL
I like Motte, he’s a hard worker but you’re right, he’s a little small. Give me Grayovac Bailey and MacEwan as the 4th line and then upgrade from within as prospects develop and deserve a shot in the NHL. Travis ends up shortening the bench anyway, so who cares. Coaches should be spending a poop ton of time with these guys on how to PK so they can contribute and play some sheltered 5v5 |

Rubber room or house arrest?
I should be so lucky.
Just an old man who( because of covid), had to come in from yelling at teenagers to get off my lawn.
Now you are stuck with me till its safe to go outside. |
