That's MR. Chains to you, mdw. I hope you didn't come here to gloat about Lafreniere, or Lafannyass, or whatever his name is. - JohnScammo
His name is Lafrenière, but he is known to his familiars as “Le Bust”. |

Am I reading that right? 3 short handed goals in less than 2 minutes for the Av’s? |

So I had it right the first time, except for the speck of dirt over the 2nd "e". |

What the hell did Brind’Amour say to earn a $25,000 fine? |

He hit him square in the chest. If we're being consistent with the way things are treated in the playoffs the worst thing Lee will get is a fine. If we're being consistent with the way the referees did their job today, Lee will be banned from the league for life. - eichiefs9
The NHL has always been fair to the Isles. Remember when the Leafs took out Peca and Jonsson? |

"This year's draft was clearly rigged for the Rangers."
I assume. I don't really know. |

I think they stay for 2 games and then when it would change venues they would get a new crew, but I could be wrong. I think with the bubble they change up the refs each game. But again I could be wrong.

Negative, he was in the quiet room answering the phone. |

Not sure what Lee was thinking on hit, but the puck was gone for a second or two. I know he got interference penalty but still seemed avoidable. I just don’t want that Neanderthal Wilson taking liberties on one of our key guys. What did you think of hit? |

Leafs team captain John Tavares where improvements need to be made to get the club past the first round
When we have high expectations and we don't come close to meeting them and we're in the situation that we're in, there are going to be questions and people may expect significant changes, but we have tremendous youth. It's been talked about a lot, but the harder thing to do is stay the course (with) the group and for us looking internally to each other, asking a lot of tough questions and challenging one another to be better, and how we can find our way to where we want to be.
I think there's no question that management is going to do everything they can to give us the best team possible and want to improve the areas that we need to improve in and they'll make those determinations throughout the offseason, but certainly the type of group we have, the type of talent and skill sets, it can be pretty special.
No idea how the Isles are surviving without this great leadership? JT wanted to stay the course with Garth and Cappy as well. |

My opinion 2 minute Penalty for interference was deserved and served.
Wilson challenged Lee for it and he answered. I don’t think it warrants additional action by the league except maybe a fine.
That said OV laid a huge 2 hander with the blade into MM and MM retaliated with a hit and was Given a penalty. The league needs to look at that as well but then again it’s OV.
As far as Wilson he was in the penalty box all game. He can play exactly the way he played today for the series as far as I’m concerned. |

I didn’t get to see game other than highlights and I YouTubed lees hit. OV can be dirty for sure. Filthy Russian. From what I gathered sounds like we took a lot of penalties, but 5v5 we held advantage. This team has a great identity. |
