Who from LA, Vilardi or Turcotte. You could possibly have a Center group of Cozens, Byfield and Vilardi or Turcotte and then draft Holtz at 8. Wonder if you could get Georgiev and say Kakko or Buchechev - Buff36
Now you are thinking along with me!
Plus, the Sabres would be a bottom feeder for 2 years, thereby being able to further build out the pipeline while having an abundance of Cap Space to make a few shrewd moves. |

AJ Klein came to the Bills "to win a championship".
And (few) people wonder why McD deserves a contract extension. - TheSabresTaco
Nobody in their right mind. |

If we don’t qualify Montour that would be the dumbest asset management ever |

Some dont see it because he might be slightly overpaid - ieetbred
Great hes an agitator making 9 million dollars a year.
He had 3 more points than Milan Lucic.
The excuses for him are endless for I don't know what reason?

Excuses? No just actually retorting a ridiculous narrative that he’s some sort of soft perimeter player which is the furthest from the truth.
It really is amazing how once a guy signs a contract he has a giant bullseye on his back. |

After a year of offersheet hype last year was such a dud. Gms won't use them. |

You know how he wouldn't have a bullseye on him.
Score more than 18 goals in your last 90 games.
He is this elite goal scorer and is now being paid like one.
17th highest paid forward. 231 in total points.

They absolutely do not work, realistically, on big name players. I also believe they are unicorns, but, if they were to work, the ideal target is a lower to middle class player from a cash strapped team where they heavily invest in superstar talent. |

There’s 8 years of him being an elite EV goal scorer, then there’s the last 90 games where he’s dealt with 2 different injuries and getting moved off the only competent line on the team. Wonder what the issue all the sudden is?

3 separate teams have thought Strome was the answer too.
The guy had 1 goal and 1 assist in 20 games before being dealt to the Rangers, and was pretty much a dad man walking until Panarin got there.
Now he’s going to get an inflated contract because he bag held Artemi.
No thank you. - Pegullaville
Strome had nearly 70% of his ice time at even strength with Panarin last year. |

I would listen with full attention, LA would be another opportunity.
If that move were ever made, Sam, Risto and Montour would be the next guys on the block.
If the Sabres could get 4-OA...assuming Lafreniere and Byfield were off the board, who are the next 2 guys they should target? - IonSabres
Rossi and Drysdale. |

Mangiapane from Calgary would have been an ideal target regarding the above. Too late now though, sadly. |

No he didn’t suck. He was trying to make chicken soup with chicken sh!t. The only way this team will get better is by the draft, bargain UFA’s and now the biggest bargain trade shopping ever due to the cap crunch teams will now be in.
Can’t blame Botts cause he never had the chance to deal from a positive side. ROR and Kane had their trade values decline for non hockey reasons, Lehner was 2 bricks short of a load and you can’t blame the GM for scouts gone wrong.
This team is finally in a position to deal from a positive power side so Adams can’t use the excuse he was left with a mess - Camel
He sucked
He gone

Sure and Jamie Benn has had a pretty illustrious career but who in their right mind would think the next 5 years at that AAV is a good idea ?
Skinner peaked at the perfect time. Now we get caught holding the bag. |
