Well, they/she does oversee a successful NFL team too and is the only female doing it so that could be one reason why.

well lets see the best prospects drafted from 2013 to 2017, and exclude the first round guys
https://www.hockeydb.com/...aft/teams/dr00005054.html
compher traded
hurley, head case that never made the ahl
bailey, baptiste, bums that never made the nhl, but got better under taylor in ahl
petersen, never signed
lemieux traded
karabacek bad pick
cornel bad pick but got better in ahl
johansson, improved every year in ahl
guhle traded
borgen TBD
olofsson good
asplund better each year
pu bad pick/traded
then the botts guys, still playing overseas
I mean I guess you can blame taylor because Glotov never made the nhl - homiedclown
You know you're in trouble when you have to resort to crediting him for developing Bailey and Baptiste, but calling others bad picks. Those two regressed and lost NHL jobs.
When it comes to development, his record was murky, at best. I'm surprised that he's gone, but not something that gets me worked up at all.

yet all that bad stuff happened under her watch
and the bills employees had that sour feeling in their belly after the meeting after a successful season

the pieces do not add up
can the gm
keep the head coach
can the ahl team across the board with a decent record
promote an inexperienced guy to be gm
whack most of the scouts and even fire someone you intend to keep
either cut the head off the snake or do a thorough search to get the most qualified person to run the team

Is Bailey in the bubble with Philly? I know he had a hell of an AHL season |

Kevyn Adams has been around for almost a decade and the Pegulas have liked him, he, the players and the Pegulas liked Ralph - you don't - you lose.
Why go to the mat for the scouts for a team that has not made the playoffs for 9 years. From top prospects to players they traded for, pro scouts what did they gain from the fruits of their supposed labor? Why you are crying for canning the losing makeup of scouts? It makes sense when you don't hold on to what is losing for you. They had lost with what they had, they can either win with new heads and ways of doing things or keep losing but why are you crying for the losers? |

Oh you're right. I'm a year behind on his parent club. I wonder if he's in the bubble with Van. 47p in 53gp this year. Pretty damn good! |

A career AHLer with a few NHL games tossed in. Tough to believe that we are putting Bailey on Taylor's CV. It was hard for me to believe that Bailey and Baptiste were who the Sabres were going to hang their hats on for those years. |

Looked it up, he is. Good for him. Think everyone was rooting for him, then the frustration set it.

My comment wasn't related to the job Taylor had done at all. Just seeing Bailey's name jogged that recollection. It seems like this year he really put it together. Good for him as a local kid. He always had the physical gifts to make it to the show, it just seemed like what was between the ears held him back |

I know his mother. He has great speed but in the NHL he didn't seem to control his body that well and wasn't the finisher we hoped.

This is something that’s speculation at best. We have no idea what his track record should have been. Some guys just aren’t good.
If there are examples of guys who we’re under him and went to another franchise and their development took off then maybe.
Brendan Guhle still can’t become a full time NHL’er
Nylander blows |

Maybe their initial development in the AHL being better would have helped them be better players?
Adams is a big analytics guy maybe he saw things in Taylor, analytics, and development that made him want to make a change? |
