I think you can get Illya to sign for $3-$3.25M, Toronto would still have a problem matching that as well

$4.125M for Mikheyev would be a brilliant move. Sabres wouldn’t regret it. And you’re right, the Leafs may have trouble matching. It would certainly require some salary to be moved out. As a Leafs fan, I really hope this doesn’t happen
