Not really yikes. I'd pay the man for simply enticing players to actually want to be here. It's been a spell since then. - TheSabresTaco
Agreed hes in the pete carroll mold
Happy we locked him up |

6 years ? Yikes. - Pegullaville
Technically he has 2 years left of his current contract.
So adding 4 years to it |

I don't follow Flacco for his Bills takes. - TheSabresTaco
When is the last time a HC with no division title wins nor playoff wins got an additional 4 years tacked on to a contract with 2 years still remaining ? |

Well when you go almost 2 decades of not making the playoffs and the new coach takes you there 2 out of his first 3yrs, he does. |

I think you can get Illya to sign for $3-$3.25M, Toronto would still have a problem matching that as well |

i would think he needs help because he has never done this job before and all his predecessors who had experience failed...... |

Good stuff, kong...however, if he can become a 15-20 goal/40-45 point, mid-six two-way winger, $4.125m would be very reasonable, imo - Michael Pachla
It would, but I would want him to prove that first before I paid him.
I'm not as concerned with getting great value down the road right away with middle six players. |

Zero chance he would sign in Buffalo
Who the (frank) would do that willingly unless they severely overpaid them like Skinner and Okposo? |

Touché 🤝 |

$4.125M for Mikheyev would be a brilliant move. Sabres wouldn’t regret it. And you’re right, the Leafs may have trouble matching. It would certainly require some salary to be moved out. As a Leafs fan, I really hope this doesn’t happen |

That’s fair 🤝
I like the makeup of the Bills roster. I think it would be a disappointment if they didn’t win the AFC East this year |

Rookie GM... hell he was a glorified rink manager.
Rookie analytical head of scouting.
Motivational maven head coach with average and virtually zero experience as an nhl bench boss
The pegs who have changed course repeatedly with the sabres and not sniffed playoff hockey for a decade.
Aces or not. Adams could use a little more of an experienced sounding board. |
