Reverse jinx aside, I really do feel like the Caps aren't coming out of this. Holtby is, objectively, one of the worst goalies in the league this year. Caps were one of the worst teams the last month and a half of the season, and they look even worse coming back. Kuzy is straight dumpster fire, and I wish they traded him last off-season. Kempny is really bad. Siegenthaler is really bad. Orlov looks really bad. Backstrom is out. I don't know.

Also, Caps are going to be running around at the start of this game to get "revenge" for Backstrom not paying attention, so they'll take like 10 penalties.

She was great. Kicked your ass but really made a difference. I could skate with my ankles straight after going to her.

Yeah I really learned a lot from her. Hated her at the time, but it was worth it. Her husband (I think his name was Joe) coached the Omaha Lancers in the USHL and we used to spend some time working on skills with him too. Brutal getting up at like 2am for a HS freshman though

So did all the other girls in 6th grade, but look at the bright side. It made you the man you are today.

Never met him. My practices were always like 4 or 5 AM for our high school team.
I did private lessons with her so they were normal hours.

Robbie Glantz is awesome. For me skating separates every player. Edge work and power skating made a huge difference when I was a kid. Barbara Williams kicked my ass weekly and it was well worth it.
Today most kids are off ice training, power skating on top of their regular practices.
Crazy how much more practice these kids go through today.

Yeah it’s possible. I read Holtby in your first games played really well. Honestly didn’t watch any just going by what I read and his sv% looked pretty good. I also thought he was good until the third and really only faulted him for one of our goals. I think the Islanders turned it up and the Caps as a whole kind of folded in the third.

I was looking forward to seeing the Johnston & Johnston twin-octuplets hit the ice.
