Man, that was a painful game to watch. The refs are absolute morons out there. Missed a spear, miss a check from behind, call Gio for interference when he's the one on his ass in crease, they were looking for a way to call back Forbort's goal, called back Mangy's goal despite him being mobbed on the way down, don't call a penalty after taking back Mangy's goal despite him being mobbed on his way down...

It was endless last night. Rinaldo better be back in tonight, he better take a little run at Seguin after the crap they pulled on Chucky (who, let's face it, was going to face his comeuppins at some point).

Johnny was worse than invisible last night. Lindholm too, apart from his pass to Benny. Mony at least threw his weight around a bit, but the Dallas style of D is just shutting these guys out. Give Dallas credit there, but Johnny for one is not fighting through any of it.

Garbage game, they better come back better tonight.

At the start of last season JG was taking hits to make plays. Couple times he got his bell rung but always bounced back up. Then that stopped. Now he shy's away from any sort of contact.

I understand he is not a player you want to taking big hits but he has to step it up and take some risks. Too easy to play against a guy when you know he is going to avoid contact.

Im concerned Chucky may miss this game due to concussion protocol. If he does, I would move Gaudreau down with Backlund & Magpie & see if they can wake him up.
I would leave the 3rd line intact. Benny played a different game when they had him on the top line & he is his best crashing with Looch & bringing the best out of Dube.
I would be tempted to try Ryan on RW shift Lindholm to centre & shift Monahan to LW & just see if we can get any lightning from them. 4th line shift Janko back to centre, with Reider & either put Czarnik on that line or bring back Rinaldo & tell him to go after that fcking puke face Perry.

This has been going on for a year and a half.... JG has become a PP and 3 on 3 overtime specialist. Teams lean on him and refuse to give him the offensive blue line anymore. Harsh but last night he looked scared and the puck was like a grenade on his stick. So much for my pre game prediction last night!

I think this is the sort of series that would be good for Rinaldo. Its not fast hockey and although Dallas has firepower I think the slower game favors Rino's exceptional hockey IQ. This series will be a grind and I think Rino would make some plays.

I am biased though as I like the positive elements he brings enough to overlook the negative.
