I would try and inject some size up front to make life harder on their top 4 D as their bottom pairing is playing <10 minutes a game. Give Buddy a shot and roll these lines.

Agree Gio was better last night so hopefully he can keep elevating his game. I am much more concerned about JG's play and Chucky's injury.

What I'd like to know is why Comeau didn't receive penalties near the end of the second period for unsporstmanlike conduct and delay of game when, out of frustration, he swung his stick and broke the glass. Was that ever addressed or explained anywhere?

Gio has been playing poorly throughout this post season...careless penalties, out of position...he's not even playing as well as our third best defender, like he's very distracted. Maybe he's worried that management will ask him to waive his no trade clause because, at this rate, we're going to have to find money to pay Mangiapane and Talbot for next year. Of course, that's just speculation.

Gaudreau's line is in need of a good kick in the pants. They're not doing jack at 5 on 5. Thought for sure he'd be amped on his birthday, but no spark.

Fingers crossed that Tkachuk will be healthy and back in the lineup soon.

Last 2 games the flames have looked bad ...I get why you shuffle a guy into Tkachuk spot to not disrupt lines ...but to me without the 3M line in tact you have one line playing good ....if half way through the game they look bad I say blender time

IMO if the top line isn’t going to do anything then split them up and try to get a Johnny or Lindholm against a weaker line.

I’m thinking back to 2004 playoffs and what I remember most is you find a way to win somehow . So FFS the Flames are leading 2-1 in the series so keep calm and beer on!!! I’m hopeful the top line will get is poop in order. Cheers fellas.
