They traded Clarkson (who was a bust, but still might play again, and who’s contract was insured) for Horton (who was never going to play again, and who’s contract wasn’t insured). I don’t get how they gain “extra cap space”. Either player goes on LTIR the cap still counts towards the total, it’s just that they are allowed to exceed the cap by the amount of that contract. Nah everyone in BC was great. No issues. I did have a kid in Kelowna ask me about my license plate however and I thought 'here we go' lol but he was just asking where to get one. I have a 'support the troops' plate here from Alberta and he though it was very cool. Not sure if BC registries offers them...
