This poop Game 2 was a possibly and a concern since that poop second period from game 1. It’s time to play. They didn’t see real intensity in the round robin. Intense is here.

It’s been a long time since this team has looked this disorganized, slow, and weak. They have been beaten in every facet of the game...but it’s just one game.

They need to show some heart and pushback in the third or they need to put some players in the stands next game. I’d be surprised if Ghost plays again in this series, but what about Frost? We need an offensive spark as we are not getting anything from our “star” players and haven’t since we got to Toronto. I will be watching to see who sits most in the third...there’s a lot of candidates. Time to send some messages to our underperformers and to the Habs, as we have no chance of winning this game with Price in net. They want to run the goalie we should to.

In many ways, this is a good wake-up call. Not saying everything will be ok, as we have a series now, but I am personally more worried about the complete absence of the first line to generate good chances. The second line is being shut down and the rest of it is just fits and starts.

I said before the first game my biggest concern was they went through a round of elimination already and have nothing to lose. Now with the coach out they have more pep. Flyers need to play hard this period. Win or lose I want to see maximum effort, smart plays, get pucks on net. Keep it simple and get some momentum here.

You can’t come out of the gate slow, chasing a game, especially with Price at the other end is extremely difficult

The series is far from over but that Brucey troll is the reason you have so many visitors (from many teams) in this thread today.

This series is going to be a lot closer than a lot of people imagined.
