I am less worried about the score and the result than the fact that in period 2 and throughout the time the game meant anything today, they looked silly.

Its one thing to lose a game, blowouts happen. Its another when there are system issues. Lets see what happens.

Just great. I expect it’s a compound fracture. I can not believe we lost home ice. Pathetic hahah

Did some back-reading of the afternoon's comments prior to the game. Glad I took a nap!

I know the Flyers were due for a loss after going 9-1 before the break and 4-0 in the round robin and 1-0 in the playoffs, but I didn't expect a stinker as bad as today's game. I'm sure AV will get the Fly Boys pointed in the right direction for the next game. Our forwards didn't help out our D-men at all. Will Bunny be back in and JVR out? Provy and Niskanen did not look sharp at all, but I really don't like Ghost with Braun. I have a feeling that Hagg will be paired with Braun on Sunday? Will AV make some changes on our pitiful PP?? Hopefully TK didn't get seriously hurt? Very embarrassing game to watch. Rant over.....

JVR will stay though he did not do what he is supposed to do - be a sniper and have good hand-eye coordination. Did play with noticeably more motivation though.

Ghost is gone.

Tk I dunno. Could go either way.

A loss is a loss. Losing badly without playing well in any stretch svcks but if you aren’t motivated after this loss then your hopeless.

Yes, my guess is that he is likely done for the series.

Soft team syndrome strikes again. Giroux and Voracek haven't done shyte in the playoffs since the 2012 series against the Pens(when they played no defense). JVR and Ghost are 2 more softies to deal with. I told AV to sit Ghost before this game. I wonder if he has figured it out now? I'm hoping that my premise about the round robin being fools gold is wrong(that the other 3 teams really had nothing to prove in the round robin). Playoff losses happen, but getting embarrassed is a whole other story.

Are we allowed to talk about this game? What adjustments should have been made and weren’t? The fact that one forward should be demoted, when in reality the offense needs work? Let me help you...

A top ten center in this league in Sean Couturier has 2 assists in 5 games and those two assists came in one game. Our Captain has one assists and in 5 games and in the first period of this game, he was passing to Vacant areas of the ice, with nobody to accept his passes.

Now let’s get (frank)in real get and hold our team to a high expectation.

You are not allowed to criticize the players making the most money, only the 6th defenseman and 12th forward.

Looking at the playoff scoring leaderboard there are names like Aho, Stone, Point. You don’t see Giroux, Voracek, and JVR anywhere. When Scott Laughton is the teams leading scorer, there are problems.

Broke his foot blocking a shot down 5-0. Smart heady play.
- PLindbergh31

lol dude people could just as easily commend his effort and investment no matter the score. no pleasing you.

ill bet you montreal doesnt have five more goals in them in this series more likely than not. it was never going to be a sweep.

that being said, im curious if you guys are still feeling the shake.

Haven't backread but I'm positive Ghost is taking the brunt of the heat. Meanwhile, our top 6 and Niskanen have been no shows.

But yeah, this was all on Ghost.

Pure speculation...remember they don't have to release medical details so we may not find out any time soon

How is that $200 stake looking now? Buyout option looking attractive at $160?

i honestly havent even checked. is that what theyre offering?

lets see how sunday looks. you guys lose that one and i'll be getting worried. people are knee jerking this one. game was over after 3 0, the fact two more got tacked doesnt matter. i mean i get it, if the roles were reversed id be sickened too. its being a fan. but objectively, like i said this was never going to be a sweep and they arent playing on aggregate.

I dunno. I was just joshing around. I am staying put, of course. Its my team, so obviously there is an emotional commitment to it too.

Having said that, I think I will say that Vegas and Avs look way more impressive than any EC team I have seen so far.

The series is 1-1 guy. How many pats on the backs can one team get for winning one hockey game?
