Ya got to hand it to Vegas - they play as strong of a team game as any team in the league - maybe only Columbus can match them. All 5 players on the ice know exactly what to do and where to be and the give maximum effort and excellent execution. That's why they get so many sticks on the puck - they never give up on the play and they always have a teammate there to support. The Hawks aren't playing a bad game but Vegas is just that much better ... well that and at least another 2 shots off the pipe.

Bowman and company on notice this offseason. A lot of charmin soft players on the hawks. Size speed physicality and the willing to body check with authority forecheck and willingness to do whatever is needed to win those things are missing on this team. So we will see what happens.

We said this will be a learning experience for the kids, and it is.
