Yeah. He is keeping them in it and giving the team some energy IMO. There were some really good shifts on the PK. |

how many outlet or transition passes have the hawks flubbed so far...i can count about 7 in the last 6-8 minutes... - bogiedoc
Based on the way they aren't fighting for pucks says they are worried about getting checked receiving the puck |

Man, lately Kane has the shinpad issue when he shoots. Keith must have been giving him pointers.
I'd like to see JC swap Toews and Strome to give the lines a different look. Toews doesn't look 100% but Kubalik and Saad are killing a lot of plays with miscues. |

Pfffftt....you are only saying that because Vegas is dominating us almost every shift. Even strength shot attempts are only 48-15 for Vegas... |

Every Hawk forward has a CF% (5x5) under 30% except for AdB (6-12], Kampf (5-8), Carpenter (4-5 in 4:49 of ice time). |

Face the facts:
1). We have an emerging center in Dach; a declining center who cannot carry the load as a top two center from offensive point -of -view- that is Toews. Toews remains a good player but he cannot play heavy physical hockey for an entire season. His early season last few years hasn't been good
Strome. He will never be a top two center. Both him and DeBrincat hurt their team with poor defense. I hope both leave town. Kurashev might be ok but as a #÷ center
Fact is we are weak down the middle. You aren't winning in playoffs with our amalgation of players whom just aren't up to par for top lines
2) very obvious Bowman needs to draft a center. Winning vs Edmonton cost us an opportunity to draft a top forward, although we do not know if our choice would have been high enough to grab the kind of center we need. You can forget about gaining a top two center via trade or free agency - not feasible or even easily achieved even if you try.
So you have two big holes: future goaltender and future top center. We can put down too a need for more big physical players and at least less timid play from dmen.
All these dmen prospects and bottom line forwards we talk about sound promising. But Bowman better fix aforementioned center position, more tough forwardd, and a goaltender. Long way to go |

What's with letting the guy with the puck skate all the way into our zone without giving it up, where the (frank) are our forwards |

Someone check him for a pulse. Playoff hockey and he looks like he’s out for a Friday night beer league skate.
Hawks have no business being in front....it’s the Crawford show. Playing with fire with a lot of time left.... |

At least 3 years away from resemblance of a contending team. |
