I’m going to say it. The new dads on this team need to get their heads straight and start picking up their game.
Three of the veteran guys not doing poop.
Despite one on the board.
They aren’t the only ones but they are the most important players.

Hits 27-13 Flyers.
Lets see if this third period reflects that. Flyers need to take control of this game, and this series. |

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with cutting his ice time for the rest of the game. It’s not forever. He’s not sharp tonight.
For the most part, I’ve liked our game. |

Yes. This is infuriating. We need them to get going soon.

He needs to do his "war face" to get his game back:

I’d keep him out there. Two (frank)ups in that period. His bound to make up for it in the 3rd |

What I don't get is this: every single (frank)ing pass the Flyers make in the offensive zone is anticipated and picked off. Throughout the season, I never saw this, not even during the rough stretches in '19. |

I’ve noticed that they’ve upped their physical game. I think it’s smart. |

I thought Giroux is having a decent game. You are not going to get more from JVR than this. Every 10 years he does make a bull rush towards the crease in playoffs (last seen, game 1 against BOS 2011) |

You can fault the flyers or credit the Habs for that. It's probably a mix but I tend to credit the habs. Look at what they did to the Pens at times.

Haha. I was just thinking of that after he made that one push to the next earlier in the game. Haha

Giroux is not having a decent game. The Flyers right now don't have a single player who is an offensive catalyst. They can get more from Giroux, JVR and a bunch of other players.

The Canadians are playing well defensively for sure.
The flyers are also late to puck support far to often and losing puck possession.
I’m not sure the canadiens can play better but I know the flyers can. |
