What a poor effort by the Flyers again. You guys are lucky to finally have a goalie and that we hit 5 posts and cant score. - Markiz
FYI....2-1 Flyers up.

Haven't seen you in these parts forever Mr. B. How's it going? - PT21
Going great all things considered.
Yes I tend to steer clear of the daily fracas here.
Hope you're well! |

Much better effort tonight. Hopefully they use that game 2 asskicking as a further springboard. - MBFlyerfan
The effort was there sure but the offense is anemic. Very little sustained attack. They're struggling with Montreal. In the playoffs a win is a win but they won't go far with this level of ineptitude both on the PP and at ES.

And Hagg was (frank)ing stellar. Time and again he stapled people to the boards.
Still think he is not suited to this series? - PT21

Pamplemousse osti tabernac.
Yeah he does. Speaking of fins. I’m still. Shocked Rask has opted out of the playoffs. Wow. |

Thought they competed playoff style. They need to build on this and get their O going. AV needs to tweak a little - wcorvette
The Laughton, Hayes, Konecny line needs to be split up. They are a mess right now. |

Markitz the troll. Let me just say the flyers effort was they just aren’t up to speed so far. I’m seeing them just a second or two behind on their reads.
The flyers can play better but can the habs? |

I'd play Gostisbehere next game.

Montreal is playing very well and you have to overcome price who also handles the puck very well. No real dump and chase. We might have to win another couple 1 goal games to get through. |

Don’t even get me started on Rask. Is he taking career advice from Tim Thomas now... |

I agree. I also think this has proved to be a bad matchup. Flyers vs. opposing speed does not always lead to stellar results. |

They can play better. They did on Friday. But that performance? I don’t think anyone could play better. |

Way, way, way better in their own end tonight...obviously need to start to be better offensively, but the Flyers were very sound defensively and that wins. |

To play the Islanders who also have a ton of speed and are flat out a better team then MTL. |

Just can’t agree with you. I love Ghost. But the defensive chemistry isn’t there when he’s in the lineup.
He’s gone in the off season. |

Montreal is playing well and they play with max effort but they're a limited team. A quality team that plays well on both sides of the puck can and should handle them. Flyers are barely squeaking by. Habs could've easily potted a few tonight. Short term, a win in the series. Long term, very disappointed in a number of players so far and how that effects the Flyers chances as the playoffs move along.

Yeah. If you try to open it up like crazy you’re still not getting 4 on price. With the pp anemic, might take ugly hockey to win it. Bad match up and it’s taken a while for the flyers to meet the habs playoff intensity. |

And Flyers were at 40.9% overall. So Hagg was right about there.
Ghost is not seeing a minute for the rest of the series. |
