Edler is best at ~18-20 minutes. Tonight is going to be tough with another 25+ tonight. He had 28 last night, though QH had 27.
I'm hoping TG shuffles things around a bit. Would like to see fresh legs in the bottom 6: Bailey in for ZM, slide JV up to Bo's line for a bit. - NewYorkNuck

LE/Stecher/1st/4th to Detroit? - Nighthawk
Why would it cost anywhere near that much to move him if a team is looking to hit the floor or wants to add a cheap vet. There's $5M in payable money after his signing bonus is paid.

Tried it at Capfriendly & one of the very few offers that got acceptance other than LE & 2-1sts demands.

How many teams does Capfriendly own?
Hypothetically, if Vancouver was to retain $2m in salary and cap it would only cost his new team $2m in salary due in the final year of the deal. It would cost Aquilini $6M total for the signing bonus due July 1st 2020 (already paid?) and $1M in salary next year 2 the year after.
We'd carry that $2M for 2 years.
It seems to me that under the right circumstances you could get a draft pick in return.
I agree, I'm happy with the way they've played thus far. The Canucks arguably played their best game of the 3 last night, yet they lost because the Blues finally kicked it into gear, now it's going to get serious, I just hope the lead Van has in the series is enough to finish them off. - NorthNuck

Stecher is decent in 3rd pairing mins, he gets overworked in the top 4. I think he and old man Edler are going to have issues tonight on a playoff back to back. Both guys are playing more minutes than they should right now. - Nucker101

That 5m over 2yrs is the only value in this flat cap era makes it more possible. That said any smart GM with cap space will extort that advantage. E-draft looming is the other big key factor this offseason.

I’ve proposed 2m retention as the best way to unload LE at the cheapest cost.
Rumour is Capfriendly is buying Arizona for 10 cents on the dollar & relocating to Nome Alaska.

even the SN/CBC panel was talking about how the Blues were exploiting Stecher on the weak side did you not watch the game? lol
Sure he skates pretty good and does a few other things well but with Myers out the Blues saw an opportunity and used it...pretty basic man .
And again I didn't see the OT so can't say much after regulation.
Sutter and Fanty were standouts to me and Petey. Bowser needs to get into shooting lanes a bit more but the Blues are good at shoring those up. - LordHumungous
Agreed.
Stretcher was getting targeted last night. Again, he’s got a lot of heart and played decent.
Definitely missing Myers.
First time I’ve ever really noticed Fanta this year. Quite impressed tbh and hope he can keep it up.
STL seemed to be driving the play and Marky kept us in it.
Till we weren’t.

I love Stecher's passion , his heart and just about everything about him but he is too small. If you are that small you need a high skillset that he doesn't have.
If you want to move into the high end of teams then you need to upgrade. I feel the same as Motte. You are paying him 800 K last year same as Blais.
Again love the hustle but he is not going to wear a team down

There are going to be a lot more players in a stratosphere above LE that would be available to unload to cap floor teams with the new CBA and cap post covid market. Only way out is MCT if LE wants to keep playing. He's made so much money doing nothing he won't ride buses for 2yrs for another 10% of his contract.

Maybe the expansion draft. That should just cost a low pick. He only has a 15 team NTC this year, maybe he's open to moving. If you can manipulate the revenue situation as one of the league's more valuable clubs you might gain an asset.

Other then Ferland Canucks haven't had any major injuries and especially to core players where other teams have and its cost them.
Its tougher losing a RD man which is Canucks weakest depth but adjustments have to be made to compensate. Like, more forechecking pressure by adding big bodies in the line up running the Blues.
