The Blues dominated but it is down to a best of 3. It ain’t over til the fat Philly fan sings.

The boys can find it with a day of rest if Marky can steal wins. Possible but it’ll take a full team effort & opportunistic goals. I see no reason we cannot shut down their scoring. No Tarasenko & better focus needed.

Poll time...

Should or should Green not add offence?
Forget the PK killers & go all out.

Just finished a 14hour day, didn’t see a minute of the game.

Can we go back to hating Horvat as C and Sutter/Beagle as over priced 5th liners?

asking for a friend.

I think we've moved on to blaming wingers.

The young guns and Marky are gonna have to carry this team like they have all year, the depth looked okay against Minny but is outclassed vs the Blues. Probably why so many people were not happy with overpaying for depth guys who can't create offense, especially when you see some of the quality cheap depth the Blues have in their bottom 6 with Blais, Sundqvist, Sanford, etc. Motte has been the most noticeable bottom 6 players and he's one of the cheapest..just saying.

Myers out hurts big. Stecher in over his head. Bring in Gaudette & Rafferty. Others possibly as well for LE Beagle Zac add your own.

Let's be realistic. TG's scratch options are ZMac, JV and LE. D scratch options are Benn/Fatty.

Insert options: Gaudette and maybe OJ(doubt it though

Can sit Beagle. The PK isn’t the problem & he adds nada to scoring options

I think he should've been proactive and put in 2-3 fresh bodies after last night, Blues are built for these physical back-to-back games, the Canucks aren't. I think most fans can agree that at this point, most of the depth guys on this roster are interchangeable parts so why not get fresh bodies in there? The Blues thrive on wearing down their opponents over a full series.

Blues use an aggressive forecheck & finish checks. Breakouts need to be clean & passes crisp & accurate. Our D has to be smarter not named Hughes.

Canucks are losing the physical war. Every time, Perron, Blais and any 5 other Blues have an opportunity to hurt a Canuck, they do, unchallenged, unanswered. Benn, Roussel, Mac and Virtanen when he feels like it, don't scare me.

I don't know much about Bailey, everyones whipping boy Loui is a waste of roster space, bring Bailey in. Jake, Casper the Ghost, hit somebody, drop em or bring Gaudette in,easy no brainer. This is a very talented hockey team who could definitely use a healthy Michael Ferland.

They frustrate the p**s outta me, off the soap box.

Yer good. I single out Perron & run & cheap shot every chance & then some. On their D I go after Dunn. On point shots I waste a few high ones on them on set plays. It’s war. Always picking our spots

Edit:

What we have is a rough deep team that wants to beat us down & we wanna skate & make them pay that way. That’s fine but special teams has to be in our favour & Marky standing on his head. Our biggest weakness is our bottom 6 doesn’t make them pay in the trenches or on the scoreboard. O’Reilly isn’t rough but is tough & nobody has the answer for him with Myers out. Fatty has held his own. Eddie not mean enough & too slow to take liberties. Benn just got back. Stecher is outta his league big time. Hughes just be himself.

It's that time, you can't go to a gunfight with a water pistol.

LE>Gaudette
Jake>Bailey

Green is really coming across like Willie D. He should be worried about the bottom 6 – if they got any offense out of them it could be a 3-1 series.

How the Canucks respond to this next game – lineup adjustments, PP and PK adjustments, tempo, forecheck, etc – is going to show what kind of coach Green is. The rookies on the team are learning what it takes, he's going to have to step and show he can learn on the fly as a coach.

Blake Price throwing some shade at Beagle.

“Looking for a spot for Gaudette? Cup winner Jay Beagle had 9 mins, 0 shots, 0 attempted, 1 hit, and 40 percent in the faceoff circle.”

Something has to change. Really hoping TT can come back, though with no word on his injury it's impossible to know a timeline.

Not sure why Bailey isn't in. 6'4" 214 lbs, 47 points in 53 games for Utica. His write up sounds like the exact player they need against the Blues: Justin Bailey is known as a big winger who plays a modern power forward game. Is a load to handle for opposing defenders one on one. He also has a quick release and skates very well for such a large individual. Does not mind using his size to punish opponents physically.

JTM - Petey - Boes
Pearson - Bo - JV/TT fingers crossed
Rous - Sutter - Bailey
Motte - Beag/Gaud - LE

Edler - Stetch
Hughes - Tanev
OJ - Fatty/Myers fingers crossed again
