Try to trade for Cirelli & if no luck then an OS to force TBL to match or they cannot afford to match. Trade to get back the 2021 3rd pick.
Cirelli 5-7/6.3m OS cost a 1st & 3rd |

What about Ryan Strome, the kid can dish the puck, could work well with Skinner. - Buff36
Overrated playing with Panarin. Nope |

The Rangers would just extort the Sabres then. It would be obvious they were trying to OS someone. All for nothing, because Tampa would match in an instant. |

Well it's not like he would be passing the puck to crappy player or anything like Skinner. |

Kypreos: Eichel “wouldn’t mind exploring a move"
@CMDeDominicis @DBtBAnth @JeremyWGR ...some Eichel talk around 54:20 👀. Looks like heat is on for Adams to get this team better
@RealKyper
Today @DougMaclean and I talk team press conferences including Kyle Dubas.

This was from two days ago, did this make it here? I didn't remember seeing it. There are going to be some big moves this offseason not the fringe BS and more than just Montour for whomever. |

Panarin drove the bus Skinner doesn’t. Why pay for a reclamation project who was lucky to play with a superstar? |

As for getting the 3rd back do a 3-way deal without the Rags knowledge.
Eg team A trades with the Rags. Secondary trade team A with the Sabres. |

Panarin drove the bus, but those 41 assists help steer it. |

Apart from the top line and Horvat the rest of that forward lineup makes we want to throw up. Loui Eriksson is like having Okposo playing 2RW
Yet they are up 2-0 in their series over the defending champs. Heck even their d-corps doesn’t look all that too impressive apart from Hughes.
Yet the Sabres are so far away from being a playoff team ?
I say Nay Nay.
Capable 2C and a goalie that can split time with Ullmark gets us in.
An additional top 6 forward and top 4 d-man make us a team capable of doing damage once we get to the playoffs |

Think we need a player who's been through some wars, show the youngins what it takes to get there. I think a Craig Smith or Patrick Maroon. |

JT Miller and Horvat make differences and play with character. Besides Eichel who does that with the Sabres with the forwards? Petterrson is a nice number one center. Boeser is a scorer. That is 4-6 top 6. They have Taffoli. Just because Reinhart is on the top line doesn't mean he is a difference-maker, VO had a nice rookie season but is he a legit number one line guy? And Skinner, whatever. They have some work to do. We have to take the Buffalo fan glasses off and see what they really have.

Except for what the Sabres overpaid for the pick.
So they trade Johnson to the Devils or something. Teams can and will weasel their way out of cap problems. |

Eichel, Skinner, Reinhart, Dahlin
Pettersson, Boeser, Miller, Hughes.
Buffalo doesn’t have a Horvat or Markstrom.
There is the difference in my eyes. |

Miller has been a 70 pt player and has balls, Reinhart not so much so I don't equate them. Skinner has been off for a year and half, is older and Boeser actually can pass, get some assists, actually more of those than goals in his first 3 seasons.
Not having a Horvat is big as is a Markstrom. If they gut the D and have prospects run the asylum this year with Joker and Dahlin as the main cogs and Miller leaned on as well they are in trouble.

I hope Tampa wins the Cup as I think it would make what they have to do this offseason even more interesting as I'm fascinated to see what they do to get cap compliant. |

Who are your top 5 Centers
1) Dvorak
2) Domi
3) Dylan Strome
4) Vilardi or Turcotte if LA drafts Byfield
5) Henrique
I would take any of these guys - Buff36
I would add Chris Tierney to the list. Good on face-offs and a two-way player who is a RFA. Will the Senators pay him when they have Norris and Batherson ready to step in? |

I see Gaudette must be hurt. He is someone I would think the Sabres should be interested in. Could see cap move where the Sabres get Gaudette and Baertschi (a former Krueger player) for Montour +. |
