And you know what ? I'm glad he's unhappy. He SHOULD be unhappy, right ? Would everyone like Jack to say "Oh I'm fine - couldn't be better ! Love the makeup of this team...we're awesome !". I hope they're ALL unhappy. Sadly though, there's probably some floaters on the squad that are just collecting paychecks, going through the motions, and not speaking up ... and they need to be dealt with.

And Adams can fix that IF he does the job correctly. Since he has no experience as a GM, it's going to be a tough job. I guess all I have is hope for him to succeed. I doubt he lets another GM run all over him though - he seems scrappy.

Fix the players on this team, and Jack and everyone else is happy.

The beauty of it is that 2/3 C's are infinitely easier to obtain than 1Cs. The team needs to lock into a few that simply fit the play style that they're looking for. Which I can almost guarantee is a more boring, defensively responsible center that has 50 points in him. Derek Stepan, while I would be grossed out by it, might actually be an ok acquisition for the term, cost of trade and maybe withheld salary.

Give Stepan Skinner and Kahun and I think you can make something work there.
