He just had 40+ points in 61 games and 70+ points in 81 games last year. No idea why they would trade him. |

Saw this article, I don’t consider this trade because he is the whole team right now and the draft pick and Vilardi are unknowns.
Would you make this deal?
To the Kings - Jack Eichel
To the Sabres - Jeff Carter, Gabriel Vilardi, #2 overall pick and a 2020 2nd round pick

Seems like maybe they do a 2021 1st instead of the 2nd rounded, but still not interested.
jeff carter ain't goin' nowhere...he's 35 yrs. old, got two more years on his contract and i thought i red or heard more than once that he'd rather retire than play in another city for another team |

Not that I would do it, but imagine Vilardi Cozens Byfield down the middle. All 6'3 or bigger and can skate like the wind. |

That part is enticing, but even if Carter were to waive, I want no part of him |

I would not want him included. I would want another 1st and another high end prospect like Fagemo and a player of there roster like Roy. |

If you're going to make that trade, then you'd better find someone to take Skinner, too.
There's zero point in having him and that contract on your team if you're going full rebuild again |

I know what u r saying but don’t count on a parade until they prove they have big balls and some playoff grit. I like to see the job done then pay up.

I am not saying I would do the trade, but it is a intriguing C group and then draft Holtz at 8. Roy has turned into a good RHD. |

For one year of Krejci? Are you extending him when he's turning 35? |

Apart from the top line, the only other Bruins forward that was going to crack 50+ points was Krejci.
Interesting. |

That's a pretty big apart when the Bruins top line had a guy who was almost a point per game producer, a guy who almost had 90 points in 70 games, and another guy who almost had 100 points in 70 games.
The Sabres had one player remotely near that, not three. |

So according to twitter verse
Ralph and Taylor hasn’t talked since ...... November.
Thoughts? |

Sweet pitchfork by ROR. We got Super Sniper Tage Thompson though so we’re all set. It’s gotta be the most disastrous trade in history of sports. |

Watching this game I find it very hard to believe we couldn't get at least 1 of these young players in the deal. what a complete embarrassment. |
