Now we're talking.
Jost and Zadarov was painful to envision. - RhinoFan
Probably have to swap for Asplund for Mitts. But I’d still do it.
I honestly think Thompson is going to prove he belongs this year and I’d like to hold on to him. |

I'm excited to see what he can do. Such an enigma. He will make some great play or rip one in from the top of the circle, then do that pirouette at the net mouth ending with a shot below the goal line.
Truly hope you're right. The talent is there, just have to turn the light switch on somehow.

“Remember that time Brayden Point was an elite CHL player in his draft year yet inexplicable fell to the 3rd round?
That year, the next closest U18 WHL scorer was Jake Virtanen. He trailed Point by 20 points.“- Cam Robinson
It’s because he’s small and doesn’t hit people Cam Duhhhhh. |

Here's something crazier, he was viewed as an average skater his draft year. Worked on his skating post draft and it's one of his strong suits.
If guys can produce, draft them.
Are old blogger did some research on twitter, and if the Sabres made draft picks solely based on primary production, we'd have Point and another top 9 player I can't remember as opposed to the poop we got in 2014 |

60 (on pace for this year, his last 3 seasons.
He is a 60-70 points player. - ImThatGuy
I'll be that guy.
He looks like a 60-65 point player.
A while ago, I was told a 59 point player wasn't hit a 60 point player.

Connor Garland and Gaudreau are another two examples of players who fell due to size concerns.
I honestly can’t remember what the name of the article was because I read it months ago, however most players that bust or are “overdrafted” are bigger players.
Whereas small players (especially Europeans) are usually the ones that outperform their draft positions. [/img] |

How buffalo sports fans work.
Dude is trash and not worth it, he'd be garbage without Jack.
SO we should trade him then for middling picks and prospects.
What no, hes at least worth a 2nd line center and probably more. |

David Kreijci(SP?)
Travis Koneceny
Alex DeBrincat

Sam Reinhart more points last 3 years than everyone's favorite, Rickard Rakell....
We have to have Rakell though and Reinhart is garbage. |

Depends on how much money he wants. Like you said, you can rattle off several names that can score 55-60 points.
More so playing with Eichel |

They have plenty of options that don't include being forced into a 1 year deal with Reinhart, and they will never offer him a 2 year deal, as that would be abject stupidity.
As Lunaion put it, there's a ton of risk if he goes the year to year route. It's why they have such a low likelihood on the 1 year deal.
All of the above is why I've believed for a while that they are trading Reinhart this offseason. - kingcong39
I hope so too.
Gerbe's link above...send him to Colorado for Bowen Byrum and Alex Newhook
BTW, Arb may be forced on the Sabres, not that I suggested Sabres would offer the 2 year deal...it was listed, I merely picked the one I would select If I were Sam...and suggested Sam could get the 2 years by using Arb. I stand by it. |
