Yeah, I get it. It's shuffling deck chairs to some extent. I'd rather give them Montour.
But if I can flip Reinhart for Domi and either Risto/Montour for a RW, I think the sabres are in a much better position overall - jcragcrumple
It's a deal you do if your sure Domi can take that 2C spot. I would do that deal, easier to find RW then it is C. And would like to see Domi and Skinner together. |

“ There is absolutely no excuse for Alex Mother(frank)ing Nylander to have more time than ANY of Toews, Saad, Dach, or Kubalik, let alone in an elimination game WITH THE LAST CHANGE, but here we (frank)ing are! In 4:25 (5v5), nylander has a 6.25 CF%. Inexcusable.”

Why would you trade the #8th overall for Circelli when you can see if he will take a 2 or 3 years offersheet at around 4.2 Million and Tampa Bay cannot match because they only have 5 Million free and also need to sign Sergachev? This year it's a Buyers market out there and since there will be so few teams with cap space to take on cap from other teams they will have the ability to be very picky on the deal. - hambolt
What's that a 2nd rnd pick, cause we don't have a 3rd |
|

I don’t mind that at all. Gives us the needed. RW. What pieces do you use for the 2c? Risto +? Or the 8th over all or 2021 first. I’m only using the 8th for a Cerelli type asset... I might be open to swapping firsts too depending on the player... - Gr8daygo

Turcotte doesn't help us next year. And you're paying a premium for a guy like that. For a team likely rebuilding, they don't HAVE to trade any prospects right now. They can wait and see what they have first.
On Domi, the price goes up, simply because you're in the same division.
Henrique can probably be had for the cheapest. I'm sure Ana would love to rid themselves of that contract.
Just my opinion, of course. - Powerslave
The only issue with Henrique is that he has a 10team no trade list
It’s close to where he grew up (Brantford, ON)...
but idk if he’d wanna come here or not?
If he’d waive,
it does seem like a relatively good fit & i doubt we’d have to give up much for him |

i like your thinking...not sure he'd sign a $4.2 m offer sheet and the sabres can't offer any more because they don't have a 2021 3rd round pick |

Like Powerslave said only if it's him from 3 yrs ago. Maybe he could have a rebirth with Skinner. - Buff36
6.5mil though
It’s only 1 year, so if they’ll give us something good to take him off their payroll then I’d listen |

Tampa would surely match an offersheet that small anyways
It’s too bad that offersheets are such a rare thing
Would make things a lot more fun if teams would start using them more |

I mentioned that in another post, I would take a look at Schnarr, Bunting even Maccelli |

Would have to be a pretty good prospect/pick to consider it
I’d do something Raanta, & 1st (or good prospect) along with Stepan for Hutton
They get about 8mil in Cap Room to try & keep Hall
And it helps us potentially settle our goaltending issues as well |

Tampa has been taking it to them for most of the series - jdfitz77
Their defense has been subpar this postseason. Their goaltender is really bailing them out. |

Looks like the Columbus defense hasn't been that good and Korpisalo has just been lights out.
https://www.1stohiobatter...-deserves-total-breakdown - kingcong39
Regular season had the 3rd best defence and 3rd best PK in terms of minutes from my understanding.
These playoffs though have been the Korpisalo show no doubt |

I would ask for a couple good prospects, would fill Rochester, they are gonna have a young team next year. |

look at the offense they've faced and are facing...so it's not too surprising...and they're pretty average behind jones and werenski...gavrikov is good, but this is his first full season in the nhl and regardless of his experience in the Khl, it's nothing compared to the speed and skill he's faced in these 8 playoff games this year |

Yeah, for sure
I didn’t think there was a way they’d be able to figure out Point from last offseason though
Maybe i shouldn’t be adding they’ll figure it out again this offseason too, but they always seem to get guys to take less & make it work
Would sure be nice if we could somehow take advantage of the situation though |

Entirely possible
Obviously Yzerman would have some connections |
