Lehner clearly outplayed Crawford, just check the wins and losses but the Hawks kept coming back to Crawford despite the stats. Lehner wants no part of your Hawks. Crawford can play but he really is inconsistent and basically unreliable.

Based on what exactly?

Crawford: 0.917 SV%, 2.77 GAA
Lehner: 0.918 SV%, 3.01 GAA

The big difference? Goal support. Lehner received 3.26 GS/gm Crawford received 2.56 GS/gm.

Crawford is older and that makes Lehner more desirable on the open market between the two. I also agree that Lehner wants nothing to do with the Hawks after the TDL move. That said, you cannot say that Lehner clearly outplayed Crawford. Two things can be true at once.
