It's not always about whether a guys is worth the $/term, but rather if he's worth it considering the other players/needs of a particular team.

Yea I liked Hayes but I don’t think it was a mistake at all keeping Kreider and getting Trouba. Especially if Gorton can work his magic over the next year or 2 And find an even better option for a 2nd line center. Since the team is still rebuilding I feel we should wait to see what the final product looks like first
