Don't you have a pipeline to protest or a whale to save?

Notwithstanding the above, Flames looked completely outclassed for most of the latter half of the game, particularly OT. They just looked out of sync...

Canucks win a couple of games and they start invading other team blogs to troll...

above: Right back at ya Pal... everyone in Cowtown feels the same way about the Canuckleheads and their fans! good rivalry. On another note, Giordano is starting to look his age unfortunately. Huge Gio Fan, but he's no longer elite. It's obvious Gaudreau cannot compete in the playoffs, please trade him Tre. GFG!

I don’t think we got outplayed in ot. We had a couple chances to win it just didn’t go in. If we don’t take 5 penalties in a row we’re probably up 3-1.

Yeah for FFS lots of negative nellies lets do the obit & autopsy when we get knocked out officially. Playoffs are always a swing of emotion & momentum. We were the 6th seed of the play in teams for a reason. We may not have even made the playoffs if things didnt get shut down. We're seeing some good things. Jets were a good team & they were healthy when we started to play them. Dallas is a very very good team & these old cack sackers of Perry & Pavelski have really stepped up & their experience & the fact they've always been Flame killers is showing right now.

We need Chucky back, we saw that top line get some decent scoring chances for a change, but I agree Reider on that 2nd line sucks. I say move Johnny down with Backs & Magpie & put Ryan up with Monahan & Lindholm. Throw whoever on that 4th line based on the minutes they're getting, Reider is good on the PK. But hopefully Chucky is back next game. Lets be positive, lets hope we can keep playoffs going, its been a treat so far.

Put Valimaki in, I don’t see any need to protect Gio at this point and I think lucic will allow us to leave him unprotected.

Talbot has been good-- he even stoned Noah Hanafin on a surprise shot last game-- but that breakaway goal was a weak one, at a bad time in the game, and ended up being very costly.
I won't hang it on him though. Even the great ones let in a stinker or two.

Cory Perry can go frank himself. Someone spear him in the 'nads, would you?

I like Perry but thought he was washed up when he was a free agent. Man I wish the Flames would have picked him up

First line showed a pulse last night. That was a positive.

Is Sportsnet still looking for the Lindholm penalty? and the call on Talbot FFS

Couple poop calls and they score on both

Not sure what’s going on with reffing. Maurice beaks off about Tkachuk, we get screwed the next game and Jets win. Anybody hear if Bowness was complaining after game 3, cause we got screwed again.

So where are all the Bennett haters now?
I wish we had a couple more players like him.

Interesting question now in regards to current playoff performances :

If a team offers a mid to low 1rst round pick for Bennett this off-season, do we pull the trigger?

Considering most people were ready to get rid of him for a 3rd round pick in January.

I think Bennet is the type of player you need to win cups. I know in regular season we expect more out of him, but he has consistently showed up in playoffs every year. I say the chance of mid to low 1st round making Bennet type difference is less likely... just keep him.

You spelt Gaudreau wrong Kidding!
I say no but I’ve always been a Sammy supporter. Interesting to see how other feel.

What i didn't like from the Flames in the last minute of the game was how they were just standing around... i mean on the game-tying goal , most of the flames were all staring at the puck and not taking the body. But it's easy for me to say that, i wasn't in the game... but i think Flames need to take body more than the puck when puck is in their own net... but i guess having one extra guy for Dallas with goalie pulled one guy open then

Wondering if Gio might be nursing an injury. Of all the guys on the Flames he should be the most excited about post season.
