I'm the "rah rah" guy who thinks if we win more, our crap guys (that we rag on) will become valuable.... (Loui needs 1 or 2 game winners, The Krakken's posterboy!)

If we play more youngsters on ELC's, the less we need overpriced vets.

For some reason the coaches have put him out there on PP2 all year long. Makes very little sense to me, 2 PP points in 41 games.

I would have like to have seen Rathbone in training camp, just to see how he looked against the pros.
Lind as another agitator might have been interesting too.

Nighthawk is the lines guy, but I don't think having Roussel on the PP at all is helpful.

I do like him and what he brings, we have different boat anchors in mind.

I think if there is a line up change or two, better attitude Vancouver will win. With all due respect.

I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer, I really like what’s going on with the youth movement in Vancouver, however, I’ve said this before that they are not built for the playoffs. They need to be a much deeper, more talented, better defensive team that doesn’t rely on all-star goaltending to win when they’re not scoring in bunches.

I’ll probably catch hell for this, but, look what AV did in Philly when they lost 5-0 to a quicker team in Montreal. He FINALLY made an in-series adjustment and they started playing a 2-2-1 to slow Montreal down....boom, back to back shutouts.

Green needs to adjust to what’s happening.

Meh, I’d give JB another year. I think he is just starting to see his drafting prowess come back to him. He’s said he doesn’t want to sign any outside UFAs because they have everything they need in house. We are just starting to see his long-term idea of this team, so let’s see how it goes.

I think he needs to be judged on moving bad contracts out moving forward, to see where the team can be.

That’s much better than passing judgement on JB years ago & sticking to it like others have. Nothing wrong with saying patience & actually doing it. Use this offseason & next moving contracts to finish the assembly for sustained success.

was it lebrun that called the canucks the pre-cup hawks? its a big year for the core to take a step forward but i really hope they take a hard look at the supporting group and make the tough decisions

Yes Lebrun. Many pundits have said glowing things about the Canucks. They get more respect elsewhere than given in here. One only need to hunt around to see that.

Where the Blues are destroying us is their ability to keep the puck in our zone and furthermore our half of the ice for very long stretches.

IMO they need to play D that can get the puck out, make a long pass. We need a forward with speed playing high at all times.
