Yup .League wide it will be interesting .I do think we will see one different RHD a third line center and a replacement for Ferland - VANTEL
I like Gaudette but he isn’t 2C material yet or on the Canucks maybe another team he could get there. Not likely imo. As a 3C he needs to improve his D & FO’s to be a very good player for us.
RHD we need to upgrade Stecher for sure. Plays with heart but contract demands & his size won’t fit if we are to keep improving.
Ferland type of player are hard to find so I look from within &/or resign Toffoli for top 6.
i was just thinkign this morning about how great dorsett would have been to have in this series. if only jv could give even a fraction of that guys effort - johnnykarate
Canucks made a good step this year but they are toast. They need to replace at minimum 4 players: stecher, virtanen, beagle and loui.
Loui and beagle because of their horrific contracts and replacement level results. Virtanen because he has run out of chances and is the biggest douche/ slacker on the team. Stecher needs to go because he gets destroyed down low. It’s embarrassing. Our D needs to get bigger and nastier if we hope to advance in the playoffs next year - CanuckDon
Interesting, 2 losses in a 2-2 series and its there is no hope and what next season's changes will bring. Yet if the Canucks scored on a couple of their PPs last game it would be a different tune. Hope the Canucks are reading their posted obituaries and come out to prove the epitaph banter wrong. - NuckUp
Some here think think they are hiding behind being realistic. Good thing it’s players playing the game & not the fans quitting on them. Small adjustments & 1-2 roster changes can do many things to get the outcome needed. Marky stands on his head & another way to steal a win.
Yeah looks like you boys may have a bit of a cap problem next year. Couple over paid bottom 6 guys, handful of RFA deals that need to be done and carrying some dead cap. - Gerk
Cap isn’t bad just not ideal to resign everyone. RFA’s are not getting big money. No room for Stecher & is replaceable cheaply.

I would have like to have seen Rathbone in training camp, just to see how he looked against the pros.
Lind as another agitator might have been interesting too. - Shuswap Wap
Couldn’t go to training camp or loses NCAA eligibility.

The banter makes it out like Canucks are the Yotes playing the Avs.
Anyway, the Canucks have earned their wins and stolen nothing. You could say game 3 was stolen from them.
They can win with adjustments and scoring first and on the PP. Its that simple. The Blues are beatable.
Do the Blues face the Avalanche or the Golden Knights next round? - Marwood
Depends on if the Canucks win or not. If the Canucks win the Blues play the Knights, but if the Canucks lose the Blues play the Avs. Not sure the. Blues come out as winners in either scenario as both those teams look real good (in my Willie D voice)

We're complaining about the refereeing here, when the whole league has it set up so the Blues go through to the next round no matter what
canucks already signed him. hes a pro now - johnnykarate
They brought him to Vancouver to work on things with other prospects over the summer and or until there is a training camp. But he didn't make the pre-qualifying camp, as an extra, in time because of Covid quarantine protocols coming from USA.

Down to a best of 3 & the Blues are playing better than us. Wave after wave. That said it’s a new game & a day of rest. The Canucks will not roll over so lets watch & enjoy rather than be doomsdayers. No matter what they have shown resilience & given the Blues all they can handle so far.

It’s a Champ pass. Like a hall pass but for sports teams.
