Good win, they can't let up.
- VanHockeyGuy

I'd say they absolutely have to win in 6, but I also thought game 4 was a must win.

You guys might attack me for this opinion but I kinda want it to go 7. I really think game 7 experience would be great for the young superstars in making. Better to get the feeling now when there is less pressure (relatively speaking) and the team is the underdog.

My oh my, how did the Canucks win last night, I mean they didn't score on the PP, and who knew Green had it in him to make adjustments.

I saw that on Twitter this morning, we don't win that game unless JB makes the Vanek trade

IMO Bennings last five trades have all been wins. Toffoli JTM Motte Pearson Leivo

Yup, no patting themselves on the back just keep chewing leather.
I've got to give Green credit for the line changes and in-game adjusting. Great game!

Game 6 trying to close out a championship team, game 7 pressure filled win-or-go-home... both games can be a huge learning experience. Hopefully they don’t go to 7 though, would rather them just close out a team

I was a bit shocked to see Gaudette on the bench when I turned the tv on with five minutes left.

either way, it's a good learning experience.

the only downside with this tournament thingy is that the boys didn't get to experience home and away playoff atmosphere.

True, I think we all enjoy that much more, but for a young team maybe it’s been beneficial as they don’t get the extreme mental momentum shifts. Getting their feet wet kind of thing.

yeah, regulating emotions especially over a series and more importantly over several series is huge. in that respect, this summer is a nice transition in atmosphere.

i do wonder if the added "electricity" of having fans in a playoff game would have given someone like jake the push he needs emotionally.

If for some reason he doesn't sign I still like the trade and the attempt .

I think with the young core that we have and PodK Lind and Hoglander ready to join the NHL ranks soon there was a very slim chance to none that Madden was ever going to play.

I would not be surprised to see another JTM type trade this year for a Dman .With the uncertainty of all hockey next year and the cancelation of tournaments 2022 drafting is going to be a guessing game for the most part.

The team would also have to clear out a lot of cap space for it to happen. To bring in a $5m (approx) player, the team will have to clear more than just that in space (looking to keep space for the EP/QH upcoming deals.)

do that just for the cap space without thought to bringing in someone else.

there are a few contracts that are anchors that can be dropped. the team needs some cap breathing room so this offseason should bring movement. let's see what jb does.

wow!
how far is that from the city? what's the forecast for the weekend? we've cooled off down here with a bit of rain. hopefully the rain moves to the interior!

He's developing a good track record for sure. now if only he would stop overpaying old UFAs he'd be golden.
