Something last blog mentioned how good the Blues angle us to the boards. That is very obvious & they stay in a good position after it & have support to move on to the next Canuck. The way to beat it is quick crisp accurate passes. We do it at times but it’s getting harder as we are getting beaten down. Missing Myers has really hurt us. Looking forward to OJ & Rathbone in the future to change that. Woo for physicality is much needed when he’s developed.

Projecting future season fixes in the middle of a hard fought series doesn't change anything. Canucks need to make PP adjustments and if the score on their opportunities they beat the Blues.

Much respect to this Canucks team. Hughes is looking like something special and could be one of the top defensemen in the West soon. Bo is tearing it up and hugely impressive. JT Miller would have made a hell of a Blue, love his style.

Us Blues fans are hopeful things keep on going to trend. We saw this last year as the team did not start particularly strong and every series went at least 6 games (two going 7). Last year the Blues got stronger as each series aged, their physical game taking its toll on the faster opponents.

Been fun to watch. Hopefully we so no more injuries on either side.

This narrative of the PP being the only thing that's mattered for either team bothers me a bit. The team which has won the five on five possession battle has won each game. Momentum, confidence, and generating chances at even strength absolutely matters for special teams.

They need to slow him down that's for sure. He's single-handedly wrecking them

Same could have been said for Bo in first couple games. Players will have big games and the stars will do the heavy lifting on both teams. The Canucks just need to score first and on the PP then they control the game to win.

The 5v5 play has been even though wins came for both teams on special teams.

Don't need to beat the Blues to win just make them pay on the PP. If the calls are made, the Blues can try their Bruin inspired antics all they want, and lose to a team that can score on the PP.

5v5 last game wasn't even close. Multiple times where Blues were cycling near 2 mins in Vancouver end. 3rd Period blues basically went into shut down mode and still had the better chances.

Ok the future is now put in OJ. Satisfied?
Brock on Bo’s line & put him on PP2
Insert Gaudette & back on PP2

lol relying on one variance of the game isn't going to cut it. Ask AV and the 2011 Nucks how that worked out for them.

It’s easy to forget that no one expected to make the playoffs. That this is all just a great sign that we are on the right track.

It was, just how things get called in the playoffs.
- Gerk

It was not. He came in hot and was squared up with Roussel, ate a couple for being slow on the draw.

No it hasn’t. The Blues owned the puck the last two games.

What is the difference between him speculating on a future roster and you speculating on a game of if they score on the PP, or if the ref call more penalties?
Not sure why you think you can control what people discuss here.
