Not surprising they took it to the boards when they couldn't match our speed. There needs to be an adjustment to regain that speed. That one timer to Petey on the PP is the worst kept secret in hockey. Perhaps there needs to be more attack from the other side to loosen that up a little. Curious to see how Green adjusts. - Load Management
Petey could swing out like Miller does & set up Brock on his offside for 1 timers.
Newell Brown runs the PP not Greener. |

The PP started hot but man it is predictable. - VANTEL It actually started by not being able to complete a pass.

That makes perfect sense. Way to much passing and not enough traffic in front. As you said everyone knows Petey's one timer and everyone knows Quinns drop entry pass |

lol relying on one variance of the game isn't going to cut it. Ask AV and the 2011 Nucks how that worked out for them. - LordHumungous
When scoring has been even 5v5 that's your difference maker... and its worked for the Blues too in their win like so many other teams in the playoffs. |

Add rotating to the PP to find more seams. Hughes solo up top is fine. Bo handles the puck very well. Don’t care for Brock doing it other than just shoot or find greasy goals. |

That's what we were saying from last game but it seems they trusted Miller more for play making ability plus their PP was working until game 4. The problem was not making in game adjustments. It cost them and that is on the coaches. |

5v5 the Blues are wearing us down. They are more physical & as hard as it gets to take it away. Us 5v5 is ok but gotta keep possession & be smarter about it. They win more puck battles than we do |

Ok the future is now put in OJ. Satisfied?
Brock on Bo’s line & put him on PP2
Insert Gaudette & back on PP2 - Nighthawk
Don't think Fatty needs the help on LD to get OJ in its the RD that is exposed with Myers out. Don't need to mess with the Lotto line if you are putting Gaudette in just stick him in for LE and PP2 for Sutter. |

Sure but that is the Blues game not the Canucks. Without Ferland and TT its not going to change 5v5 but can try to keep pace. The difference maker is to make them pay on PP. Its not the AV plan like Lordy likes to bring up though they did go to the Cup final with it. Its just playing to strengths in this match up. |

The difference maker is getting something, anything from the bottom 6. |

Hughes Tanev
Edler Benn
OJ Stecher
As for Gaudette the Blues are taking Brock away or he is taking himself away. Gaudette has more puck handling ability & his finishing ability is pretty good on the same side. Brock on PP2 isn’t a demotion just less time on it. It can always change in game. The PP2 is non-existent with Gaudette sitting. |

It’s on the PP not the coaches. Gotta be better on puck movement with better passing. Pick up loose rebounds has been the biggest problem. |

Not saying to play like the Blues but am saying better possession needed. Losing too many puck battles. |

Still have Motte Sutter & others can PK. |

Miller's great at deflections, just isn't using it where he's playing in that formation. |

We had seven powerplays, the reffing was definitely not the issue. - neem55
But but but there was this time where they did the thing to us and there was no call and later we did the same thing AND THERE WAS A CALL. |

If Petey hits his spot on the one timer no goalie is making the save. |
