Ok? What’s your point? If you lose the game the players and coaches failed? No kidding.

I think something has to give with Giroux’s 5 on 5 play. Blaming his linemates does not address the issues with his play. I would be one of the last people to single him out for lack of effort, but that’s what I see. Not on the PP or in the faceoffs, just regular shifts. Where is the will to win the little battles, give the extra burst, reach the stick to make a play or break up a opponent’s possession?

Maybe Giroux does need to go back to center. Thompson is a good PKer and faceoff guy, but 5 on 5 he seems to be a big drag on his line. Pitlick looked like he had a bad game also, that surely doesn’t help. Bunny only played about 6 minutes.

Okay, so you think Vigneault and Therrien are admitting failure every time they don’t get the best of JvR or when they sit him on the PP? The answer is no, that’s on the player somehow. Just not earning his ice time.

While I agree that line was not doing well all night. Then add the 3rd D pair and you got what you got. The Habs were pushing all night, they had no give up, my opinion it was the wrong call

- wcorvette

It's the playoffs. A coach has to use everyone. Their ice time was already limited.

My shock on the last Flyers goal was the Voracek pass actually got through to Bee for the fairly routine deflection. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time.
- PT21

That deflection was not fairly routine. LOL. The pass had to have a lot of zip on it to get through sticks, and Farabee had to have a strong stick to get good wood on it and it was perfectly placed. Nothing routine about it. It was a highly skilled play by both players. Voracek had a good night for a guy that doesn't have good hands, huh?

Not sure if ESPN can be trusted lol, but TK. Hayes only 12 secs behind
- arichardson22

TK wasn't even close to the top. Scott Laughton lead all Flyers forwards in ES ice time in that game. This is after the awful puck management game he had in game 3. What does that tell you?

Isles cannot play the way Habs can. In many ways they are better of course, but we will also have to struggle less with our offense
- PT21

This is ridiculously incorrect.

I don't know what that tells me, it is very surprising. He has clearly not been the same player he was in the round robin. I was looking forward to him bringing that level of play for the rest of the playoffs.

He's had one bad game. Other than that, he has been average to mediocre like most of everyone else in this series. What it tells you is that even after a game where he made a couple of really egregious giveaways, the coach still has trust in him.

You have to figure that some of the Flyers best players will get on the board here soon. The Habs had their guys yesterday, time for the Flyers best players to step up.

I’m still pissed they lost. Furious actually. Especially after tying it. And this series is definitely not over now. But should they move on, this adversity can only help them.

Jake and Raffl have to be considered the Flyers best forwards so far this series no?

I am also. The Flyers have turned what should've been a relatively easy series win into a fight. Against the easiest opponent the'll face in the playoffs. The Flyers top players as a whole, have come up small to this point.

He had one really bad game, and the rest have been subpar at best. He along with many others have not been close to level they were at during round robin. Laughton and TK should at least be bringing some tenacity. Best players have to show up sometime. Let's hope it's Friday, because we DO NOT want a game 7

I don’t really care if the coach is admitting failure. I’m not sure why you do. This team is underperforming. Everyone has a piece of the blame. I don’t know what the whole story is with JVR. He certainly wasn’t playing well and when he was taken out of the lineup the team won. I’m not saying that’s the reason they won, but I also don’t think it’s a bad idea to stick with the lineup that worked.

I don't really care who is in or out of the lineup. If the Flyers stop handing the Canadiens goals they will win this series. Last night is a prime example. First goal was just lazy defense. Second goal was an awful goal for Hart to give up. The fourth goal was a lazy turnover.

The Canadiens cannot score without the Flyers assistance or being on the PP.

This team doesn’t look like it has an elite forward anywhere in the lineup. Someone needs to step up.

One positive was seeing Voracek really turning it on. Need him and the other core leaders to do the same thing tomorrow.

I hope he doesn't tell his teamates the key to his success: Shoot the puck on Ben Chiarot.

Really hoping that we can close it out next game. This is a young team and if Montreal wins the next one, confidence might get low for a game
7. Really would like the young guys to get some second round experience

I didn’t see the hit by niskanen on gally. Thought it was a stick or something in a scrum. I’ll have by l re watch that

Exactly. I give the Habs credit for the fact that they play with max effort and intensity and they play well defensively. They have some defenseman who are hard to play against. However they are limited as a team. The have very little offensive firepower. Match their intensity and work ethic and they are a very beatable team. The Flyers have made this series more difficult that it should've been.

I would say that Voracek stepped up last night but overall in the series, I agree.

Here are the reasons why this series is not over.

1) Flyers not matching the Habs intensity and Flyers lackadaisical play
2) Key veterans not playing as well as they can
3) Individual errors and bad decision making.
4) Poor discipline and bad penalties.
