So if we don't have Nisky, where does ghost play? He's played with BOTH Sanhiem and Hagg as well as Braun. He's also played extensively with Provy. We can just slide the right d men up a slot. Get to see our future 1st pair a year early? Unless Zamula leapfrogs (frogs, interesting critters. Imagine people eating those thingsđđđ˛đ˛) Meyers for the all Russian 1st pair after Nisky is gone next year.. Going to be interesting.
Could wind up with Provy pushing 30 mins and Meyers, Sanhiem pushing 25. More so Meyers. |

Haha I expect he does. I love how itâs now a free for all on here. We can call someone a derogatory name and no probs. Whistles go away in the playoffs. |

Man. Thatâs a great question. I donât want to break up sanheim and Myers but I guess you have to. Myers with provy. Sanheim and hagg. Then ghost and braun? - Hextall271
I donât see breaking up the second pair and Hägg and Braun seem to be most effective together. I know Ghost and Provy were good together for a while, but this seems so unlikely too. |

Gallagher has a fractured jaw and is out for games 6 & 7. So you wonât see Niskanen either game either. You can bank on that.
And the other point is how can Montreal release an injury update on Gallagher? Thought the NHL was not allowing that. I donât want to hear any more nonsense from reporters covering the Flyers about not getting information on players availability. Waiting 10 minutes before game time to find out who is playing is a joke |

Don't think in person hearings are an option now. Looking at the view I last saw here I don't think it deserves a suspension but Flyers so 3 games.
I don't think KK should get any further discipline. His was a major. There is no double minor for boarding. Sadly the major calls for ejection automatically cause the league and PA want those hits gone. Kind of tough to suspend a guy for a hit to a players face when 1, his stIck is at his waist 2, the player wasn't facing him at the start of the crosscheck and 3, the players face was higher than the stick. 4, the stick glanced off the players shoulder and then impacted the face while the player was still falling but Flyers so 3 games.
BTW, I was a ref for 20 years up to collegiate level, so I've seen a game or 2. |

If only the league would let him rest for 4 months everytime there are playoffs coming.
But what a player. So glad we have him.
Edit: Funny to think he's still on the contract signed.... with the Flyers! - Scabeh

So what I think is this. They released or leaked this info so that it can be taken into consideration for disciplinary reasons. Itâs aligns with the Canadiens twitter feed showing an ultra slo mo vid of the hit basically lobbying for extra disciplinary measures. Doesnât seem like anyone is following the whole donât talk about injuries direction as it doesnât fit the current narrative. |

Montreal probably got Gallagher to agree to release it so the league hears about it before deciding how long Niskanen gets. |

For sure. The league has a history of punishing based on the result of the play more so than the intent. |

1. No hearing scheduled for KK
2. Well, you could technically get a major, and not be ejected, if the hit is not to the face/head. I assume that's what you meant.
3. You make good points, however, Niskanen clearly aims downwards towards the head/shoulder area, needs to be responsible that the stick would not glance off and hit the head or even do it directly, and did it before to Crosby. That's a dangerous play because even before the stick starts to go down, Gallagher is well below Niskanen, and is shorter ti begin with
