Sadly I'm stuck in Canada. Someone mentioned that it was mandatory on one of the broad casts. Going based on that on this one. Haven't read a rule book in 15 years. So I'll take your word for it.

I need to say this because I think I have criticized the DOPS a bit much in the past. They did this one right and the video description was clear and accurate, and I completely agree that it is fair. Great job.

Only one game, extenuating circumstances with Gallagher being a midget contributed in a major way to the injury. I don’t think he was aiming for his jaw.

I’ll say this about Ghost entering the line up. I personally don’t believe him to be a very good defenseman. If he doesn’t bring offense, he brings very little. Now mind you, this is only my opinion. With all of this said, Ghost is hands down our best offensive defenseman if he brings that offense. I believe Provorov is the right choice to run the first PP unit because not only is he our best all around defenseman, he’s a safer player while being on the ice. It’s like Timonen vs Streit. I believe Streit to be the more pure offensive player, with a much better point shot than Timonen but Timonen is gonna do all the right things once the puck leaves the zone. What I’m getting at is, if Ghost is the impactful player that some believe, tomorrow is his time to prove it.

You forgot to add. I have a heart attack and the world keeps spinning. They prob won’t win tomorrow I agree. Losing niskanen hurts more than losing Gallagher.

Anybody concerned that Bill never wrote a post-game blog? I know the game is a let-down, but that's never stopped him in the past and he's been honestly critical where to lay the blame.

I hope he's OK, given the times we're in.
