This caps game just reminds me of us when we lost to Tampa in game 7 back in 2015. We just looked pathetic, played with no passion - TPC
That’s the game that made me hate that era like I do now. I’m so done with it, it caused more anguish then anything looking back |

It's too early on a Friday to make fake trades, but how would you structure this?
I feel like Strome ADA and Car 1st would be a smidge of an overpayment on our part, but I'm not sure they take that either. Looking at their roster, they are going to need defense. - 2sticks1puck
TDA and Carolina first is definitely close imo

That's $6.35M coming back to us for Monahan. Need to add another roster player just to fit him in. Smith somehow?? |

I wonder if they start to make a run at a rebuild. I would pay them a good ransom for Wilson. Would be comfortable moving Buch or Kravs in a deal to clear up space on RW. Having a right side of Kakko, Wilson, Fast, Gaut/Kravs would be such a burden to play against. |

I agree but I think Wilson is someone they would prefer to keep around. |

While I would love to snag Wilson I doubt he would be available . |

Washington is just going to blame their lousy performance on Backstrom getting hurt. They aren’t gonna tear down.
And if they did, Tom Wilson is the last guy they would trade. He’s the perfect guy to have on your team to keep players from taking runs at your young players.
Rangers are going to need to develop their own Wilson/Tkachuk |

They would never trade him in the Metro. Too much chance he comes back around and takes out some of your young players with cheap shots!! |

Well Deangelo would be 5-6 mill anyway, but I don’t think that’s a bad contact by any means. He’s better then Hayes and cheaper.

I asked the Flames blog posters what they thought Monahan's trade value is. One poster suggested #24 and Miller.
I don't think we'd part ways with Miller, but good to know the realistic value isn't astronomical. I could see something like #24 and Tarmo Reunanen (maybe a little sweetener to balance).
Not sure if ADA is wanted there... |

Epic collapse by CGY - nyrangers9479
The Lucic penalty in the first opened the flood gates. Dallas was dead at that time. Gave them a PP which they scored on and that was all she wrote. |

Tough time giving up Miller. The left side is a bit weak other than Lindgren. Rather we give up one of the righties if a trade went down
Funny how when the left side was strong the right side was non existent |
