There's little question about his on ice product, the issue is an apparent necessity to espouse points of view that alienate fans and most likely teammates. DeAngelo is entitled to his views and opinions, but I think the majority here agree he would do himself a favour by expressing himself in a responsible manner on a less frequent basis, as it overshadows his obvious talent.

It's kind of like making 6 posts deriding 'libs', 'the left', and 'snowflakes' in as many minutes - it just doesn't help your cause.

This is not entirely true. Example: If your employer doesn't want you discussing certain topics or wearing certain articles of clothing that expresses such topics and you initially agreed to it, then you can be terminated from your job if you break conduct...even if it's just speaking your mind.
