I agree, I'm no far right nut job, middle for me, both sides have some real (frank)ing nut jobs - KreiderBomb
I just don't know why both sides are having a race to see which one is the most radical. Neither party is recognizable at this point. |

Sign Fast to a $3-$3.5M/3-4 year contract. Been saying it for a while, Fast is the perfect player for the bottom 6. Would be a horrible decision to not bring him back. His teammates love him, his coaches love him. This is the type of guy you keep around.
And for those who think spending any money on the bottom 6 is poor allocation of assets, how has that gone for us lately? |

And let’s not forget this whole Tony D twitter thing is only one component of determining his future with the team.
He is due a substantial raise and we have enough offense throughout the lineup without him. What can he get us back in a trade? Is his outspokenness a problem in the locker room? All considerations that have to be taken into account |

Has nothing to do with Tony, this where it get's infuriating, Tony isn't tweeting racist poop, it's labeled as racist because people don't agree with it and that's exactly what the woke left loves to do, "you don't agree I'll label you" - KreiderBomb
The irony is off the charts |

He's anti BLM, let's stop pretending this organization is genuine to the name, it's a radical left organization using the phrase as protection, I know y'all realize this, common sense can't be that far out of grasp. - KreiderBomb

Well that's the thing. When he is retweeting things that are fringe it get's real dicey. Jimmy's example of trump retweeting the "white power" chant is a good example. When you operate in an edgy place you are bound to get burned intentional or not. I don't care what Tony does but I think it is foolish to think the Rangers aren't thinking about it. |

I get what you're saying but I get where Vin is coming from too. BLM is pretty edgy itself. The movement gets blamed and lumped in with other bad poop. Kind of like ADA. That's why it's important to not do things to get the media/fanbase against you. |

Great post Jan. Fast is a prime example of a player you don't really notice on the ice and don't really know what you've got till it's gone. I suspect somebody would pay him 3M, but that's 3rd line money, and if there isn't a spot on the 3, I think you need to let him walk. Keeping him at deadline, which happened before everything shut down, is telling though - since Rangers were in no way a lock to make it, suggests they intended to keep him. That being said, with a flat cap it's a different scenario. Any idea who slots on PK with him out? - Bartacus
I’m thinking if they had got a worthwhile offer he would’ve been gone. If there wasn’t a lot of interest in him at deadline, maybe Gorts is betting he won’t get more $ than hes offering? |

Trump was even asked about it recently.
Someone asked him if he has any regrets about his use of twitter and he said some of the retweets. He said he wished he hadn’t retweeted some without looking at them closer
Tony D accidentally retweets something with anything racist in it, he’s done in the current environment. That’s end of story.
Why take the chance. Being on twitter does him no good. |

Gonna have to be blown away, he was a big part of the step forward we took and it was a step forward considering how young we are. |
