How about the Billionaire giving the county 350 billion dollars to renovate their Arena that was inadequate for years and for this wanted the development rights on the same property. So he fixes your shat hole for 350 billion of his own money but can’t develop or make money doing this. Just makes no sense. The project would have been done. It would have produces 100’s of jobs during a recession and it gets voted down.

An absolute joke. Nassau County should be embarrassed that the site is still a shat show. I hope Belmont opening drives the old NVMC into bankruptcy and turned into another (frank)ing shopping mall.

The team was to preoccupied with trying to keep the Canes out of their zone and the puck out of their net to focus much energy on offense it was pretty evident for most of the series.

Let me get this straight. Kurt Dusterberg, a respected NHL.com journalist says Carolina won the series with defense. Capmjl says the article proves nothing. Continues to insist the canes won with over powering offense.

No, he wasn't all bad and I do credit him for keeping the Islanders here. However, they were never going to be a successful team with him as owner.
