doug harvey and eddie shore are before my time...potvin is legendary and robinson was a complete defenseman who excelled in ever facet of the position...i like bourque but in this case i think he's slightly overrated...for me, without those two mentioned:
orr
lidstrom
potvin
robinson
coffey
make for my top five...then bourque - Michael Pachla
I didn't think coffey was good enough in his own end to be that high,
Needed that Huddy type guy with him |

how much of that was making the military modern?
I mean we were pulling parts off of airplanes to fix other airplanes before he took office |

god damn - homiedclown
He's starting in the AHL for me until he shows he's outstanding down there. I don't care how good he looks in camp or preseason games. He needs to earn it now and prove he's in top shape by playing consistently well in the AHL. |

and place pallets of bricks in dumpsters and on street corners for those "peaceful protests" after curfew - homiedclown
Can you prove who put them there? Or did Fox News tell you that.
You seem to believe everything on the internet that supports your preconceived notions. Dunning-Krueger effect.
I would ask myself how could anyone prove who put those bricks there and a 20 year old photo of people at a party? I wish I could post the one of trump with Epstein. |

Ahhhh, has the police dept been actually defunded yet? Or are you just making a leap to support your position. Also, anyone can make a graph to trick others. How do you know that is fact? |

You can take that conspiracy any way you want to go. The bricks were either left by Antifa, the boogaloo boys or the cops.
Fascinating really. There's a case for any one of them.
Or there are just bricks around and there is no conspiracy. |

There was commentary during the countdown that mentioned this
They countered by basically clawing that was a misconception just bc he was so dominant offensively
Reminds me of Karlsson in that way,
although his defense did noticeably improve
I don’t really remember Coffey that specifically enough to have an opinion one way or the other defensively
But i do remember him being the most dynamic defenseman offensively I’ve ever seen
Karlsson is right up there with him though

You have a college degree and yet continue to be willfully ignorant. They are kneeling to peacefully protest police brutality. Fox News told you they hated the troops. No one hates the Troops. |

We spend more per year on the military than something like the next 8 countries combined
And that’s been true for a while
Last i looked in think we could cut military spending by half & still be tops in the world

disagree
alan harper couldn't even afford a condo by the airport and had to live with his brother in part due to 2 divorces, child support and a porsche car payment
most of the people I know who are not in good shape
house they can't afford
and or divorce
single income
credit card debt
car payment
no savings
student loan debt
they usually have 5 of those 7 boxes checked

My post has nothing to do with race.
I'm talking about all races who disrespect our country.
Have you ever heard the saying, respect is earned?
Like all the rioting and looting, etc. that's going on under the veil of peaceful protests. BS - sgk56
Again willfully ignorant. How can you personally know that ALL of the protesters are violent thugs? Doesn’t it seem likely that there could be some people who infiltrate the peaceful protests and cause trouble. There was a video of a white guy smashing windows in the early days and it is quite famous. He did it to if yes violence and make the peaceful protesters look bad. Fact.
The problem with your type is it’s all black and white- no grey. I feel sorrry for you.

Or, just maybe....
A then 58 year old husband who never owned a gun, and came from a family that never owned a gun watched the news in 2016 for several weeks after the election and was simply amazed at how the Left became unglued and mentally unstable. He made a note if it.
In 2020, the same man, now 62 luckily still married to his wife, has watched for months all the civil unrest and the unlawful rioting which has put law-abiding people in peril. He also communicates with several friends who are business owners in Buffalo and Rochester and were told stories of having to round up friends to "camp" outside their storefronts to protect their life savings from potential looting. One in particular sent photos of several rioters approaching his business very late at night...good thing the "friends" with him outnumbered the thugs and were carrying their guns. He took mental note and began to do his research.
Watching news of a gated-community targeted by protesters was the clincher.
A couple weeks later he attended the gun-show and bought a full-size 45 pistol for home-defence, a 9mm compact pistol for concealed carry, and a 12 gauge, pump action shotgun for home defence.
That man is me. I pray that I never encounter a time when they are needed to protect my wife and I.
I pray for the soul who made a bad assumption in the event I do encounter such a need.
I can envision more civil unrest, lawful and unlawful when Trump is reelected and those who cried for days in 2016 take stronger measures to strike back in a "free" country. The guns may come very in handy then, I pray not, but am taking the proper training to use the guns effectively. After all, if the crazies target gun carrying officers of the law, I don't think it is a stretch for them to target the old, white "establishment". Especially listening to some posters on a Hockey Board accuse people they never met of being white supremacists or just plain racists.
Lastly, I have many, many neighbors who own guns and enjoy shooting at a range...I 'll be joining them in some friendly competition soon, after my Gun Safety, Concealed Carry and Target Practice classes are completed. I don't plan to be cowering at home, I do have a plan though.
In picking up my gun, a week after the gun show I asked the guys at the store if it was normally this busy, and why a background check took a week when alot of info says it should take a couple hours. They looked at me like I was crazy...finally one said it is pure volume...it is 4 -5 times as busy as it normally is this time of year. BTW, 9mm bullets are sold out for a month now.
We are woke, sadly enough. - IonSabres
Ok I can see your point. However I will say that by definition those are looters, not protesters.

drew brees is the devil because he respects the flag?
this might be true when we rewrite history, damn sure is not true now
